I drive a 2004 WRX, love that car to death but note to Subie owners, RE-92's are bad tires after their first few 1,000 miles. Then again I hit ice and went into a guard rail at 25 mph, not much good tires would of done there. To all who own subies remember
Mine is still running strong at around 217K. The alternator bolt broke a couple weeks ago, so for a little while I had no power, but it only cost around $65 to get her running again. I might start posting videos of my transforming my car into something I can camp out of, and then of the journeys I have out of it.
oh you had a unicorn subaru :P a 2.5rs i just got my 2000 2.5rs 5spd for 3400 with 150k miles, new paint and etc. sold my 97 obs for it. i love subarus
This green 2.5 RS is my old car. I loved everything about it except that it was automatic. Now I'm driving a red 5-speed 98 Impreza Sport Wagon and it's the best car I've ever had. It is true however that 2.2 liters even with 5-speed doesn't come close to matching a 2.5.
The Impreza I'm driving now should turn 200,000 miles sometime this summer, and I'm going to make a video to celebrate, so stay on lookout. I've got plenty of good stories from that car I just wish some of them were on tape.
Haha. Wow... a year later and my car is still running like a champ! Now it has 227K miles, no major repairs, no major issues. I've been keeping up with regular oil changes, and I recently replace the coolant fluid and gear oil. Pretty basic stuff, but absolutely key to keeping an engine running for miles and miles. I want to see this baby turn 400K!!
10 people are jealous they don't own a subie :)
