Anyways, a really good brand/type of pad is Always Infinity. They are super comfortable, super absorbent, and they have NEVER leaked because they're so awesome. They are a bit pricier than regular pads but much more worth it.

Those bleached fibers come apart in your vagina, and pads leak towards the back if you don't use extra protection. Sit an unused tampon in a glass of water and see what happens (to both the tampon and the water) after just a few minutes. Or of course you can find video demos of tampons in water here on youtube. Plus, with both, there's an excessive use/waste of toilet paper. Some of you ladies will benefit from looking into reusable/washable pads and liners or reusable menstrual cups.

I haven't bought or used a tampon in 4 months. I use a menstrual cup, more specifically, the Diva Cup. I heard about them years ago but I didn't understand the concept and thought it sounded gross. One day last year, my bf went to get a box of tampons because I ran out and I got frustrated with using almost the whole box every cycle. So, I did a little research and came upon menstrual cups, read as much as I could about them, and bought one. It's not gross and I love how convenient it is.

I've been using tampons for like 10 years and no problems at all. Pads made me feel uncomfortable n worried that there would be a 'leak'. Tampons allow you to wear shorts, mini skirt or tight outfit without any evidence that you are on that time of month. But the first thing you have to remember is DO NOT forget to change it every few hours, for your own hygiene. :) Girl stuff :)

Tampons are great and very practical from time to time, but please remember that keeping the tampon in you are keeping all the blood you lost too.
