Beautiful boy....we lost our male 2 months ago at 8 years of age....so, so sad......but we get our new baby this Sunday....a male fawn who already weighs 13 pounds at 8 weeks!
Stanley is so big and Handsome I just picked up our new mastiff puppy this past sunday. She is so cute. Our puppy's feet were not asbig as her brothers and sisters, and I am wondering if this means she wont get that big. My husband seems to believe that there is nosuch thing as a small Bull Mastiff. Is this true? can anybody help me with this question. She is 9.5 lbs and is 7 weeks old what do you think? Is she going to be huge?
@Alesia411 Stanley was right at 10lbs at 7 weeks. I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point, she will change so much on almost a weekly basis. One week Stanley would look like he was getting tall, then the next week he'd pack on pounds and look really stocky. The changes are pretty dramatic until 6 months or so when it starts slowing down. And even a "small" female Bullmastiff is probably going to be over 90lbs.
that is a awsome video thank u for shooting it we are gettin a fawn male bull mastiff on may first he is huge aleady and by the looks of this vid they grow pretty quick and i love the music it fits perfect
Have fun with him! Stanley gained 3-4lbs every single week until he was 6 months old. We feed him Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy food, I highly recommend it. I also really suggest some regimented obediance training. It definitely helps you enjoy your dog more if he's well behaved, and he's happier if he understands what you want from him. Again, have fun, they are great dogs!
@jbravo1978 Really? three to four pounds in a week?We just picked up our Mastiff puppy this past sunday, and she doesn,t look that big to me, not any bigger than a lab puppy. she is 7 weeks old and weighs 9.5 lbs. Do you think she will get that big? She has quite an appetite. How much did Stanley Weigh when you first got him?
@Alesia411 Yeah, it was 3-4lbs per week, like clockwork. He weighed about 5lbs at 6 weeks when we got him, and he started gaining 3-4lbs per week from about the 7-8th week on. Not sure how big yours will be, but I'd look at the mom and guess she'll be about the same size, give or take 10%. Whatever you do, make sure you feed her quality food, and I can't recommend a good obediance class enough. It makes them so much more fun when they listen, and are socialized!
my aunt has 9 bullmastiffs and just another puppy from a previous sale. They are amazing dogs and ive grown up around em.
