@tseekr379 Maybe you just don't like the feel of this album, which does take a couple of listens to understand. If you're a RUSH fan you should know that not every album sounds the same in this genre. If anything they are more like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and King Crimson with tons of latin flavor. Can I suggest you check out their first album(De-Loused In The Comatorium) or second album(Frances the Mute). You might like those albums more.

I can't decide if I like At The Drive-In or the Mars Volta better.. I mean, It's obvious to me that Cedric and Omar finished ATDI 'cause there's only so much such creative people like them can do with the scope they had in a band like ATDI. The Mars Volta has widened the spectrum of there creation and I think it's awesome. I like to think of ATDI as an undercover cop in the depths of a mafia family.. And TMV as a psychedelic trip in outer-space. Not quite sure which I like better.
