It's an obsolete tv and the info is bull. hang any tv as long as the mount is rated for it. they will tell you anything to hussle up a sale.

Though we do carry VESA wall mounts and all of our flat panel televisions are VESA approved we never recommend mounting TV's over head. It probably wouldn't be a problem it's just not recommended. This TV doesn't come with an antenna. Our only flat panel 12 volt TV that comes with a telescoping antenna is the NX550. All TV's have many input and output options including coaxial for over the air broadcast, cable, satellite and other devices.

i bet they use a capacitor to boost up the voltage and some how convert it back to alternating current
