  • my g35 is manual, how do i go about removing the shift knob??

  • @empressneessa We have another instruction video on YouTube under G35 2003 with manual transmission, it is very similar.

  • @HiTechElectronic can you install the headunit with navigation this way? i know you would need to buy the dvd player also but im just wondering

  • @GamerTagEquiflux You DVD player and complete wiring.

  • What iLike Is The Clips. iHate Having To Go To The Store To Buy ScrewDrivers For A Particular Job Waste Of Time And Money. And This Is Much Easier Than The Previous MOdel Years

  • You need to press a clip on each connector to remove them.

  • Yes, you need to send it in for repair,

  • @HiTechElectronic

I am going to send it in to you to fix. I have a question.

I would rather wait until I got the repaired radio back before I re-install that big piece because it's a lot of work to put it back in only to take it back out for the repaired radio.

Can I drive my car without the center unit being re installed until I get the radio back?

If so, do I need to remove fuses for radio and a/c?

  • @tgoodm1 Yes, you could drive without it and there is no need to remove the fuse.

  • @HiTechElextronic

Inside my cd changer 5 slots are raised and there is a gap between the bottom slot and the 5th slot. I couldn't get them to go down without worrying about damaging the changer.

The player isn't making noise. It will ask me which cd I want l to load and shut off after a few seconds.

Sometimes it will beep 3 times after I press load and nothing else.

Will I need to send it in?

  • I was able to remove it as a last step. What about those 4 plugs in the back of radio? What tools are needed? Do I have to press something in while pulling them out or do I just pull the out?

  • Can removing the metal trim piece from the dash be skipped? Or is it necessary?

  • I can't get that metal trim piece out. The clips don't budge. I can see them but I can't unclip them. I don't have that blue tool. Can I use a spatula like device and pry outward from the top of the trim? Or is prying from the bottom the only way?

    Thanks for video!!!
