  • mhooven, Bacus is one of the better drivers out there... remember this is a production based car that weighs 3,000lbs, you can't be bouncing it off the curbs like most race cars...

  • That's some very early footage of the first Interseries Cayman race cars, the cars have been developed alot since then. They are much harder to keep up with my GT3 nowdays. (I also have a Interseries Cayman racecar) The guy that was driving the Cayman in that clip was overdriving the car as he was new to the Cayman.

  • @lildebbieracing Yes, the guy driving the GT3 is driving well - just 'taking it easy' as I see it. And if this was the Cayman guys first time in the car - that explains a few 'missed apexes' - we've all been there.

  • That Cayman driver hit about 3 apexes the entire video - honestly that was pretty bad driving. The 997 was driving the line well, but taking it easy - not much steering input. Would have been nice to see that Cayman driven really well - then I think the 997 would have had to really push it.

  • Excellent video thanks for sharing. I own a cayman s and its great to see the cars on a race track.

  • "BAD ASS" is typical response to seeing a Cayman Interseries race car for the first time, I'm sure I said it more than once. ;-) The Löwenbräu car looks really nice with the gold BBS wheels.

  • I saw the Löwenbräu livery car at Road America today, testing with the Shelby Club event. That car is BAD ASS!!! I want one.
