@Scurpione Yes, I agree. Regarding the intensity and volume.. I do about 35 tonnes of pushing movements a week, and try to separate the intensities as heavy (strength), medium (hypertrofy) and light (explosivity). I don't see how this shouldn't work for everyone. You just have to work up to the work capacity.
@IndependentALEX Thanks man. Yes, I would really recommend benching two times a week. If you are a raw lifter, I would recommend that you do military presses (assess max, start at 65% 5x5 add 5kg/week) one day, work-bench one day (start at 65% 1RM and add 5kg per week for 5x5) and speed bench one day. On the speed day, do 8x3 @50% of your 1RM. With focus on speed, each set should be below three seconds. Speed is king.
nice benching
rly inspiring
honestly
would you advice to bench 1or 2 times a week ? like a dynamic effort
20 y.o now , bench = 105 ; squat 140; deadlift 160
body weight = 71
wanna improve bench , started doing more shoulder work , seems to be helping , butstill dunno ifI should bench 2nd time / DE etc
good luck , keep lifting

@IndependentALEX
why not? try it, and see if it improves in the long run.
I think yes, if you don't train with too much intensity or volume.

If I grow a beard like yours, can you promise me I will have the same bench press strength? ;) Great work!
