She had vocal cord surgery because back in 2003 she had a Vocal fold cyst and she finally got it removed in 2005 that is why she sounds like that it was right after the surgery

A Our record label called him and he played the bass for our single Friend or Foe but we never got to meet him. Later I want to meet him. Richard Carpenter was also called to work on our album.
