I have just brought myself a peekaboo pole thinking it would be sturdy + safe to find that it isnt soo safe at all, what is the best pole to buy which is the more stable + safe to use? + will it stay in place being safe while i do some spins + tricks??
Your videos are so helpful you have no idea thank you so much for making these =) I am learning more than I would in a class really. I know because I took a 5 week series and a few drop in classes and they dont teach the basics great work =)
I really wish I would have seen your videos before I spent so much money on Pole videos! You did a far better job walking me through these moves than they did LOL
Maybe you should put together a DVD! I know I would love to have one :)
Hello, what would i be doing wrong as i keep whacking my right shoulder on the pole lol. Do i hold the pole with my hand and curling my thumb too or cup it like i would if i was doing a shoulder mount :o)
you can cup the pole with both hands, that's just another way of doing pirouettes. This is just how i do mine.
I just watched your video and you're doing everything right so it's just a matter of practicing. As for your right shoulder, practice ending the pirouette with your shoulder away from the pole, and if you look at my pirouettes i have my forearm on the pole after a turn.
And to improve control of the pirouette, practice the turn purely with arms ie no kicking or spinning into the pirouette. Use your arms to push and pull you through the pirouette. Just practice and you'll get it :) good luck
To me, this was a great tutorial and will add to favorites. Trying to make out piruettes on video is harder than tricks and you break it down in a wonderful way. I love these moves and think they contrast perfectly with harder ones. Thanx for sharing!
so far you have the best tutorials going on you tube, thankyou! request more combos/mini routines please =-)
