I'm dissappointed with the netbook part, the Eee PCs tend to give you the most bang for your buck in terms of specs, the Eee pc 1000HE I especially love. She said video isn't great on the netbooks... My Eee PC plays HD video fine, and I use hulu desktop on high quality all the time, no problems... They didn't do a good job there..

I couldn't agree more. The 1000HE is way better than any other netbook. Long battery, fast processing 1.66 GHz , multi-touch, good size keyboard and layout, webcam, and 3 USB. Like Veronica said, videos are a bit choppy but for less than $400 it's really the best out there right now.

HD youtube videos are a little choppy, but HD videos on other programs seem to play fine, still, not bad for what it is.

Only because Acer copied Asus.

The early Aspire Ones were awful but the brand new ones are obviously designed after the successful 1000HE and 1005HA.
