I may be wrong, but I think they used the saxophone riff from this song over the closing credits of the movie "The Hollywood Knights" in 1980. This was one of the Classics IV tunes that I was diggin' when I first fell in love back in 1969...school days, huh?
Hey Romeo, it's 12:04 a.m., got up for a bit, listened to video. Everyday that we are together will be sweeter that the day before and life will be so good. Our next 20-40 years will be amazing. It'll take every bit of that time to finally having what we should've had 35 years ago. I love you mi Amor Bonito. J.
Juliet they say that all good things must come to an end ...but they don't know us we have loved each other for so long through time and space and every day our love grows and grows.Baby i want you to know i have never doubted your love or your trust just my mind playing silly tricks on me as yours does with me that ended today ...i am yours please believe it you are mine i know it every day will be sweeter than the day before lets hurry and get there 28 more days ... i love you Hunny R
@70smusicman I remember "The Chicken Chronicles", definitely. It stands out because the girl who played the hot girlfriend, the blonde, had also appeared (not long before) in "The Pom Pom Girls", with Robert Carradine. I think I actually saw it at the theater.
ah i remember this song- I sang this to a girl in my class..i looked into her eyes and sang my heart out--too bad her boyfriend was sitting right next to her , i MIGHT have had a chance ....oh Cynthia , are you out there?
@70smusicman I do remember the movie "Three Days Of The Condor "...but with all that seems to be going on now days,it seems to be enough to just to follow the news..It's more of a relief to just think of people like the great Phil Silvers & munching out while I was working at a fast food joint...Ha...Joint...I can still roll a perfect one up in 5 seconds..in the dark....*
@nicknorthable This song appeared in a low-budget movie around '77 called "The Chicken Chronicles", in which Phil Silvers was the owner of the chicken place where the main character (Steve Guttenberg) worked. Is that your reference to Phil Silvers?
@70smusicman ... ha ha ....That's funny I also saw it on late night tv in about 1979....What cracked me up is how some of the bunch working there would smoke a joint then munch food (didn't usually see that in alot of shows).....I worked in a dozen of those places...but you know we worked hard..chased the girls around the kitchen...ate alot...but you know in all that time I never saw anyone give a customer bad food (like dropped on floor or spit in)..Thanks for your comment...Nick...*
Great song...Good recording...Thanks...Anybody remember this song was the theme song in a the 1968 movie "Chicken Chronicles " ...Staring the great Phil Silvers as a boss of a sleezy fast food chicken joint in Hollywood. Was a good account of working in those places in high scool days....*,
This song is very simple, no complex musical passages, easy easy lyrics, but I love to listen to this one, more and more and more.

@kevinjamesortiz - I was in grade school then, too. First serious crush. I still think of her, all these years later, whenever I hear this song.

Yup, the cleanest audio quality - not the hiss in the background associated with the other uploads.

I like the songs of yesterday much better than today's songs. I wish they would become reborn.
