This showed me nothing usefull when trying to get cheats to work on the ds emulator with pokemon white. I have the english patched version from piratebay and everything is good except figuring out the cheat thing. Uhm Everyone don't know if this still helps but there is another way to save your game without using the "Save State as" Simply by saving the game ! ! !

Now you're wondering because you're save files get deleted when you reset thats because you need to change your path

Go to "Config -> Path Setting -> SAVERAM"

Change the folder of the Saveram from "C:" to any folder you want -.-

okay ! listen everyone ! you go to your desktop you make a new folder, name it whatever you want and then go to desmume, put the game and go to file, and put save ____ as ( i forgot the 2nd word) and find the folder u named and put the save in there. NOW VERY IMPORTANT ! you have to name it something like PokemonSave.DST YOU HAVE TO PUT .DST, and go to config, cotnrol, and u can change the controls there. Hope I helped ! ---H.I.Y.N----

people!!!i i exedentley(sorry spelled wrong)found the sulution:D

when you saved your game you think that it all worked but when you close the window

and open it again your save is gone..well i got the suloution.

1.when you open up the desmume window click on open rom

2.when that happend you notice that your save is gone

but.if you click on file and then click on load state from...then go to where you putted your save.you'll find a dst file

3.open that file and there you have your save

hahahahahahaha!!!! 1080p! the ds isnt a HD console so either are the games plus with the resolution of the ds screen you wouldnt even notice if it was 1080p :)

@Smdylan you can kinda forced it, but its kinda useless, for for wii emulator you can trully have 1080p and the graphic is just unreal compared to the actual graphic in wii

@bogellenong upscaling still isnt true 1080p though as the games themselves arent made in 1080p sure you can display it in 1080p but it makes it fuck all difference to the graphics :)

@Smdylan thats true for ds, while you can scale it, you can put anti aliasing, but since the difference are enermous, it would look totally crap. But for wii, the only unscalable one is the HUD the game itself is like pc games, can be scaled fully and it would look just if the game is natively 1080p

@pokemon8849 yes, that "WAS" the only possible way at that time, i was one of the early people who found out the alternative way to save it, and this was the only possible way. I have made another video 4 months ago in which the game is completely english and you can save it just as you normally do in DS

problem is, after you beat the game, you cant continue on it, since it resets to the main menu and you cant save in game. so with the "save state as" way of saving, u actually cant continue after u beat the champion... which is lame :/

@rrogan91 I would like to know this as well. :I I can't get any code to work on this emulator (not sure if its the game or what). If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it. :] ALSO just an fyi to anyone out there wanting to play the US/EU version, make sure to get the patched version so your pokemon can get exp!

And another thing, this emulator works perfectly fine on 64-bit (I'm a windows 7 user). I had trouble with NO$GBA because I couldn't get the firmware to patch correctly.

@OrangeCrow your problem now, is the same problem i had for months, so i quit and i downloaded desmume 0.9.7 and it works perfectly, no codes neeeded, nothing, it just doesnt go as fast as no$gba but its worth trying

@jon36mafia Actually I fixed it, for the most part. I had an older version and it wasn't working for some reason (9.6), and I downloaded 9.7 and it seems to be working now. I'm using the pokemon generator codes and I have no problem with those!
