  • the guy looks miserable as hell too. actually, most ppl i see that are on a raw diet are...

  • na uh, there are better ways of being healthy without having to subject urself to a raw diet.... thats going tooo far. we're carnivores for a reason....

  • @ando1135 Human beings are not carnivores. Research it, while you're at it research the effects of animal products on the human body. Check out The China Study.

  • @ando1135

Not all raw foodies are vegan or even vegetarian. And we're an omnivorous species...or at least some of us are. Others choose to be herbivores, others choose to be strictly carnivorous (some old dude in the UK lives like a tiger, don't ask).

  • is this in northern california?

  • a deficiency in iron, vitamin B12, and folic acid causes headaches... (sometimes a deficiency in magnesium and tryptophan can also cause headaches). Get your nutrient levels for these nutrients checked up if you have chronic headaches.

  • Here is the sOFT TALKER, Male Version!!

  • Hello, I am doing my senior project on the raw food diet, and I am collecting positive testimonials.

If you would like to submit a testimonial about the raw food diet for my project, please either leave a comment or make a response video! The video about my raw food diet project is on my channel! THANKS!!!

  • looks like too much ketchup

  • why why why it's just food !

  • omfg i want :(

  • Where is this raw food restaurant located?

  • Great Show case of food but We can't hear you

  • Say what??

  • Speak up my man. Be proud. You have something to say, so say it!

  • the more dark vegetables you eat the better you body will be able to maintain the natural pH of 7.346,

ps. has anyone else read Dr. Robert Young's: The pH Miracle?

  • @Dikkepoppe1

First: you can actually get all of your protein from fruits, nuts and vegetables...

Second: when you eat cooked food most of the nutritious enzymes have been cooked off

third: both meat and dairy are very acidic and your body is naturally alkaline, it will try its very best to stay alkaline and that can mean sucking nutrients from your bones and tissues to process the acid... which in turn will eventually lead to a whole host of possible health problems.

  • What?

  • Man has always been an omnivore, why do you veggie-obsessed people exclude meat from your diets? And why do you try to convince other people to do so as well. This is just not natural. I agree that we eat more meat than we should these days, but cutting meat out of your food is just ridiculous and unhealthy.

Just because your farts smell less because of your lack of protein, doesn't make you healthier!!!

Do what you need to do, but leave the rest of us do our thing!!!

  • That raw burger dish was filled with so much food!

  • yum yum

  • because i couldn't hear, where is this Cafe Gratitude????

mmmmmm... just looked it up... i think you must have said san fran...

    looks delicious!!!!!

  • because i couldn't hear, where is this Cafe Gratitude????

  • You look like having anemia. eat some BEEF.

  • I would definately be eternally grateful for a raw vanilla milkshake!!! lol vanilla milkshakes are my heart! My mom said she drank many many vanilla milkshakes while pregnant with me and i definately believe that!! Now all i need is a raw one <3 or 5. or.... :)

  • Why even put up the video,if your viewers can't even hear what you say.

  • @wiccamagickschool 1. You are rude; he's just a little quiet. 2. It's not actual meat. 3. Everything is raw, even the bun.

  • Audio is crap and raw meat is NOT raw eating. The Burger is meat the bun is cooked the tomato sauce is cooked. This is a Uncooked hamburger with salad nothing to do with raw eating.

  • u dont look excited at all...

  • Isn't ketchup cooked?

  • The audio is so bad that it's not watchable. Do it right or take it down already. Geeze.

  • Check out Great Life by Lucinda. I make a great raw veggie burger mix!

  • you look like you could use more iron in your diet...

  • he probably ate the pie in the car right after the video ended

  • I would like to know what the burger was made of. Is there any way you can give us that. Or even call the restaurant and asked what the burgers made of.

  • @Joni48 Cafe Gratitude does have a recipe book. I'm not sure if this burger is in it though...

  • i wish i was there with you....we dont have raw restronts around here!

  • What's the bun made of?

  • U LOOK HEALTHY VIBRINT, ENERGETIC, CALM. COLLECTIVE AND ADORABLE!

  • You look like you have Cancer.

  • @blade004 that was sad. u speak like ur attitude/personality has cancer.

and secondly... maybe he does. there are ppl with cancer who go home after the hospital and do things.

  • @thelovelymissjones You are right, i should not have said what i said :( I was saying it based upon the diet but not for a minute thinking that he "may" actually have Cancer. My apologies to the man in the video and to you also.

  • almas k ridgr bel jusul mi fadir dajz kurvine?

  • @Johnny72689 Sorry to disappoint you, buddy. :-)

  • @Johnny72689 a raw diet has no meat. the "burger" is made from raw ingredients, vegetarian ingredents, uncooked.

  • @lowrider1007 Wrong, a raw diet consists of any natural food that is unprocessed and uncooked. Meat is very well included in this as long as it is consumed raw.

  • @Johnny72689 i suppose so, but eating raw usually means raw vegan. Uncooked meat is not very appealing or healthy, in my opinion : )

  • @lowrider1007 I'd suggest you look into raw meat, you can find info on here even. It does not sound too appealing at first, but you may be very surprised to find it's healthier than we are led to believe

  • @Johnny72689 no thanks, raw meat is not for me

  • @Johnny72689 ew

  • @Johnny72689 The description is pretty specific in that it says that "there's no meat involved."

  • Wish that restaurant was here in GA. but that's okay, Altanta has plenty. That food looks yummy and for those of you transitioning and complaining of all types of symptoms...more than likely you are detoxing. I went through it and it was so crazy. My body even began to carry an odor and all kinds of stuff. Just keep pushing. That goes away and soon, like me, if you ever try processed again...you will TASTE the chemicals.

  • The audio is terrible - can't hardly hear you.

  • @markpianoman I know, I'm really sorry about that.

  • Ummmm! Yummyyy!

  • That Looks awesome, Me and My best friend tend to eat healthy but we both can't say no to a burger. So this solution can often be suitable, altough new kinds of meals rock

  • Raw food should be new food, not re-creations of meat .

  • @SuperBunyon I tend to agree -- I prefer fresh whole fruits and veggies -- but here's a few thoughts. 1. A sense of familiarity can provide comfort to people who are just transitioning from a less healthy diet. 2. This is so far removed from its meat-based inspiration that it really is something new. 3. Having something like this from time to time helps keep it fun & fresh.

  • @RawFoodDietNow Thanks for your thoughts

  • @RawFoodDietNow

thank you SO MUCH FOR THAT. @ superbunyon -- *sigh* I have just come out of a MAJOR health battle and i have learned emerging as the new person I am - that RawFoodDietNow is absolutely offering a perspective worth considering. The only thing I can say is 5 weeks ago, i would have never thought it was worth it. and secondly. They are actually good points. I hope you get it, without having to learn the hard way. Just start from a perspective of kindness and non-judgment. peace.

  • @RawFoodDietNow I agree. I am considering the transition and having a meal like that would really keep my spirits up.

  • that is a lot of food!!!!!!

  • if that raw burger is actually meat thats so disgusting. there is nothing healthy about eatin raw meat. thats if its really meat.

  • @cutejay86 No, it's not meat. :) It's a patty of dehydrated sprouted grains.

  • @cutejay86 Lmao. =//

How do they make the bun?

  • I suffered with headaches daily for years until I went raw and now they are gone and have not returned, What a blessing!

  • I can totally relate to the headaches, I suffered with them daily for years on a cooked diet and no that I am raw they are gone!

  • yum that lookes really good, all of it! I live in Utah and so I have bought Cafe Gratitudes recipe books and I just love them! Also I can't remember the last time I had a headache either, and I used to suffer with them daily for years on a cooked diet.

  • The Burger looked OFF!!! What was it made of?

  • Just watching this again... Wow, the audio isn't great, sorry, but there's some good stuff in there, so please hang in there, it's worth it!

  • Soooooooo are you saying u had a headache then?

  • oh my goodness, looks so delicious!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. i feel it's brilliant the beautiful names they gave all the food. it's allows people to give themselves compliments without realizing it. 1LOVE

  • wow if everyone ate like that, maybe we wouldnt have so much obesity in america.

  • @southstar0511

    I absolutely agree!

  • I have considered that, but so far there's been enough interesting veggies that I haven't had to go that far... :-)

  • @RawFoodDietNow

    ha ha ha.... awesome

  • Thats amazing that there exists of raw restaurant! I'd love to go to one.

  • Whereabouts do you live? Maybe there's one near you...

  • whats the bun made of?

  • im wondering this too.. looks really good ^^

considering ordering their book, it *probably* has the recipe somewhere in there as it states it has the most popular dishes. $25 on their site.

  • @sdpgposd My guess? Nuts and seeds...

  • Good question! I'm not entirely sure. Some kind of dehydrated sprouted grains? Maybe it's in their cookbook, "I Am Grateful."

  • I just bought the cookbook, it'll arrive in about a week... i'll leave a comment about it when it arrives.

  • Nice! Definitely write back when you get the book. I'd love to hear what you think of it.

  • Ooo I have headaches every day and I started converting from vegetarian to raw yesterday!! I can't wait get some relief!!

  • Try it for at least 30 days before deciding whether or not it works for your headaches... It can take some time for your body to adjust. Best of luck, I hope you find some relief! (Oh, you've already given up caffeine, right??)

  • Hmm I do still have some tea maybe or should I avoid this? I havnt had coffee in maybe over a month.. But my goal is to get 100%(99%) for life, however long that might take :D Am glad am taking it slow though have been 80-95% raw the last 4 days and I feel very fresh and energetic though it could be better :D

  • Great job on the coffee, I know that can be a hard one. :-) Tea's not so bad, but since you're trying figure out your headaches, it might be worth trying going without it for a while. Consider seeing a nutritionist, and/or a medical professional in case there is an allergy or a medical cause to your headaches.

  • Already been today ^^ He didn't listen to me, just told me to fill out some papers about the pain the next few weeks and come back in three weeks, and told me to exercise one more day of the week, I only exercise 1.5 times a week right now *blush*

  • Everything looks so good!

  • Nice to see people on a raw diet!!

I'm vegan for 18 years & eating lots of raw food!! Share you raw burger recipe also!! Keep up!!

  • Im going on a raw meat diet

  • Is it going well for you?

  • I saw that on Wife-Swap.

  • Do you know how they made the burger and the buns?? And did it taste like a real hamburger?? And did the ketchup taste like ketchup?

I'm in my second week of raw foods.. I'm getting cravings :D

  • Hey there! Congratulations on being raw for 2 weeks! That's sincerely commendable. Cravings are a normal part of the process... don't let them discourage you, even if you give in from time to time. The cravings will subside as you gain experience with raw foods.

  • (PART 2) Be sure you're getting a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables... Avoid getting stuck in ruts of the same foods over and over. (Not only is it boring, but cravings may be your body's way of telling you you're missing something from your diet.)

  • Having said that... 1. I don't know exactly how they made those. I'm sure it involved a dehydrator though. 2. Did it taste like real hamburger? Well I haven't had a real hamburger in about 12 years, but I'm betting it doesn't. 3. The ketchup did taste like ketchup though.

Same as a "real hamburger"? No. A healthy and tasty alternative? YES!! :-)

  • Thank you so much for your advice!! I must say that I do not fell any energetic at all, I feel even more tired and also have anxiety and feel depressed.. Is that normal? I try to think positive but I feel so depressed..

Thank you for the attention :) :)

  • Hmmm, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Everyone is different, so it's hard to say. It may take your body some time to adjust. You may be experiencing "detox symptoms." Make sure you are getting enough calories (it can be a challenge with raw food). Changing your diet (even when it's for the better) can alter balance (hormones, etc.) and may take a while to stabilize. See if the symptoms persist longer than a month. If so, maybe there's something else at play here...

  • (PART 2) Be sure to drink plenty of water too. You might also consider a food/mood diary. Write down what you're eating at what times, and also any emotions you experience. After about a week, you might start to see some patterns -- like, "I start to feel down when I haven't eaten in a few hours" or maybe you'll see a correlation with specific foods (perhaps indication of an allergy).

  • Wow that looks yummy!!

  • burger with a fork??? that's worse than pizza with a fork!!! lol, i'm just playin

  • Haha, I was just trying to be polite. Next time I'll stuff my face. :-)

  • is that restaurant raw and vegan?

  • Yup! Raw, vegan, and organic to boot!

  • looks good, but are the veggies and fruit ORGANIC?

  • Yes, everything is organic, too! That's one of the great things about Cafe Gratitude. It's really worry-free eating! :-)
