Nawl, after they sawed off his hand they smashed beehives over his body, which led to honey being smeared over his body and brought on hungry bees to feast on and sting him. Someone of the mob slid the finger across his then honey decayed body and was asked how does it taste... The reply was "like Candy". and someone thought it was cute and clever to refer him as Candyman. So it was only right to seek horrid vengeance not because of this murder but for calling him that gay ass name.
