I don't f'n get it...every video i see of this cat, his technique, his lines - the are so smooth, so effortless. Its as if there is no wasted energy, completely effecient - which allows him to dig deep into his reserves when necessary to really hammer a point home. @EdEmKay they do indeed play look alive on tour. there are plenty of vids of it. and as i said in my last comment; he said it was boring to play this song. not me. it's still fun on guitar most times, as simple as it is.

the other songs mentioned were more fun for him because he likes doing stops and things of that sort.

@10stripJ this song is the song mike einziger claimed to physically give him carpal tunnel, i wouldnt describe it as "simple", stop trying to make yourself out to be some master musician when you're clearly not. there's nothing boring about this song, beware criminal is slower, and a lot more simple, and a crow left has some huge breakdown in the middle. and by "play it on tour", i mean play that song on the tour this video is from.

@EdEmKay i used "simple" or "boring" to play as a way of conveying that it's not riddled with some crazy hard-to-do chords. i also never once claimed to be a master at anything, so just drop the pseudo-macho act that too high a percentage of the internet already has. this was meant to be a simple exchange of thoughts and ideas, not a battle for bragging rights. it's still a great song. we all love incubus. just be happy, man. lol
