I saw them last night in Philly - great performance! It's a shame they don't come around more often. This group blows away Coldplay, yet for whatever reason you only hear them on college radio stations and such, like XPN in Philly.

Just goes to show what good Marketing can do for you!! I know they are huge in England, but they should be just as big here in America.

I almost drove up from NC to see them in Philly (my hometown) but I'm seeing them in Chicago this Saturday instead. You're right that James deserves to be more popular in the US but I enjoy being part of the exclusive crowd of fans. It's like having a secret that is fun to share with friends. btw, I listen to free internet radio all day at work (Jango.com) so I hear James a lot, as well as other great bands ignored by US commercial radio. Tim Booth is a amazing. Unfortunately, the only thing that made them popular in the states was laid which was the lead tune in 'American Pie'. Their albums are really good, i just wish more people in the states were exposed to the rest of their music. They are coming to Royal Oak Music Theatre here in Detroit on October 1, yes, i have my tickets!!!

At last, I have searched for this song since 1997. I didnt know who it was by, or even many of the lyrics, just the tune. It was on a video montage by the bbc on the brazilian footballer Ronaldo before the cup winners cup in 97. Excellent song, but I'm trying to pinpoint some two of the words. A net search of lyrics shows other people have the same difficulty - there are many versions. The line "You're always calling from the darkest...[something]". This video's description suggests "darkest rooms", but others on the net hear it as "darkest moods" or "darkest moons". Then there's "Gotta keep faith that your [luck/love] will change" - is it luck or love? Does anyone here have an approved lyric sheet from the album?
