@cavila01 I didn't even do it and I can tell you how easy it is. Not talking shit, don't worry. Silverados have the same frame as Suburbans, so all you have to do is get all the running gear out of a dually 'Rado, some fenders off the same truck, chuck it all in, and you got a 1 ton dually Suburban!

They didn't. A couple of companies made conversion kits for 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks as well as Suburbans. The idea behind them was for stability when towing.
