Soda companies are so goddamn cheap nowadays, trying to save maybe 20 cents on a lb of sugar over Corn syrup. Well it's not like they aren't rich enough. Soda companies, quit being so damn cheap! People buy more throwback instead of normal dew since it is not only better tasting, but is better for you. I don't get all the hype over HFCS, it may be cheaper, but in the longrun, you will have a crap load more of satisfied customers if you make REAL products.

I know someone that works with PepsiCo and they can get this year 'round. PepsiCo makes this stuff all the time, just they only release it occasionally and for short periods of time so when it does come back, people buy it like mad. Same as McDonald's does for their ribwich.

You know pepsico, you could sell soda with real sugar even at a higher price anhd you'd see that people would choose to pay more for a healthier drink, but I know why you won't; It's not part of the agenda. The US' biggest cash crop is corn and high fructose corn syrup just helps you push more corn and in the meantime you're doing the government a favor by putting young people in hospitals and keeping them sick and sedated. After tasting this, I will never be able to drink normal mountain dew again. The difference in taste is so different. I love this kind, and compared to it, normal Mountain Dew sucks.. imo. Keep selling it, you'll get more buys from me.

For starters they have the 2 liter bottles now so thats a plus!! And this soda tastes soo much better than the crap they sell now. JUST GO WITH THE OLD RECIPES AND you'll get more sales.

Its rather easy, i know alot of people who stopped buying soda from corperations like pepsico and coca cola becuase they put all those chemicals and bad things into the sodas. If you make it a long term thing i would buy it for as long as it lasts :)

These following stores carry Mountain Dew Throwback as well as Pepsi Throwback: Wal-Mart, Safeway, Foods Co., Save-Mart Supermarkets, and Costco. Pepsi brought back these drinks on December 28, 2009. They're going to be making it for eight weeks instead of nine weeks like they first did on April 20, 2009. This time, Pepsi got the 2nd version of Mountain Dew Throwback right by putting orange juice concentrate in the formula. The first version didn't have it and made many Dew purists angry.

That is very true. Mexico and Europe were smart to never switch to high fructose corn syrup. HFCS is banned over there. I bet if all the sodas in America switched back to using real sugar, it would fix a lot of damage that HFCS caused. For their diet sodas, they should get rid of the artificial sweeteners and switch to stevia. The health of Americans would improve dramatically.

of course, pepsi and mountain dew throwback products are returning again, but this time for eight weeks starting December 28, 2009 according to Pepsi - Refresh Everything Facebook page. Pepsi said that they were so happy of people sending videos and tweets that Throwback will be released again. Throwback is a cool product and I wish they'd use it to replace Pepsi HFCS. Another idea would be to release Pepsi 50 with 50% less calories and sugar, but instead of using pure cane sugar, use stevia.
