WOW, some awfully mean stuff being said. I am a music educator of 27 years, marched at West Chester University and in Garfield back in the early 80's. All of the different forms are what they are. PSU Blue Band does a great job getting the crowd up for the game. I loved WCU! We had a fantastic band and still do - it is a training ground for future band directors. DCI was wondreful. A great experience!

I'm on the field for this video. I've marched in a DCA corps and am a DCI fan, so I also know good marching when I see it.

There were three times as many people in that stadium than I performed in front of the entire summer. It was so loud that at times I couln't hear the drums or even myself playing. 110,000 people screaming at you, blocking out the drums causes phasing issues across the block. DISCIPLINE and AWARENESS equates to some guiding issues instead of the whole thing falling apart.
