Infact in a tiny sense, the english words seige, beseige, basmak, and baseej have a tiny bit of a relation. But it's not the correct meaning. In turkish the main meaning is totally different, and in english, and in Farsi the main meaning is also totally different "intention, being there".

OllyGucci Yes I know that word, it's "basmaq" in Azeri, it's a common word and it's a totally different word. "baseej" is not from basmaq, the meanings are completely different. Infact in a tiny sense, the english words seige, beseige, basmak, and baseej have a tiny bit of a relation. But it's not the correct meaning. In turkish the main meaning is totally different, and in english, and in Farsi the main meaning is also totally different "intention, being there".
