just from my experience (cause i got long ass arms as well) you dont need to go all the way down but you move your elbows a lot and lock bicep flexors. just keep doin what you doing but lock up dem elbows.
They are very spot on with this. Any motion past tension of the muscle = strain, sprain or a waste of time. I learned this working in Physical Therapy and being a Massage Therpist...but you don't have to listen to me...it's just advice...lol! I'll rest to the dude's that coined the phrase! ;-)

If you see athletes, 100 m 200m 400m all the time the black athgletes were the best in 85%. In the basketball teams you have in NBA most of the players black. In bodybuilding among the first 50 "athletes" is 75% black athletes. It's the GENETICS, I did not say that whie people cannot get bigger muscles!!! But generally the black people have more esthetic genetics as the white people.

@handsomehustle - OK complete lock of ther arms NO! But the best way is to do both, you can do at first 3 sets with streight arms, and then 3 sets 1/2 mouvement. Doing only 1/2 or 3/4 mouvement for biceps is making the muscle short with time, I mean with age, this is not the scope. You loose elsaticity and stretch of the arm. But doing both is the best solution for everybody!

All i meant was: form a 90 degree bend at your elbow...the weight is now directly in front of your chest. Now don't bend your arm, but slightly roll your shoulder back. theres still a 90 degee bend, but the weight is now in front of your waist....that's all i meant when i said you were not getting a full or better extension...i think there's time for full extension and a time for keeping muscle tension...doesn't matter which one you focus on, as long as elbow is tied to the same spot.....

Haters need to look at pro body builders . They have what most would consider bad form . It's all about finding your own sweet spot. Your angle . Which is your way of getting the pump you want in that certain area of the muscle. 'Perfect' form is a guide to help those find that sweet spot to get a pump. Realize that people...

how is it bad form going all the way down is pretty pointless other than when your just starting out you wanna keep the pump and pressure in your arms. they have 16 inch arms I dont think they got there with bad form.
I've been watching all the twins videos and following their advice and have put on 10 lbs in a month(175- 185), which is almost all lean gains. I was coming of a diet, so water/glycogen + dry muscle= 10 lbs.
There is propper form and bad form. That was bad form and that's all we where trying to point out so noobs don't imitate your form.
However long your arms are the angles and range of motion are the same. Your arms being so long multiply the weight by leverage so just use a lighter weight.
You shouldnt extend fully but you should get a stretch and then come up and squeze the muscle (sorry for my bad english). im 6,5 so it isnt really a problem :P
Question: On back & bicep day I do 4 sets each of lat pull-downs, bent-over barbell rows and dead lifts, then I focus the last 4 sets on pure biceps. I'm wrapping this shit up(:D): should I do preacher curls or dumbbell curls? Which one is the most effective? Cheers guys, you're awesome, keep up the good work!

Cheating is awesome for bicep curls. It actually makes a difference since it is very hard to completely isolate the bicep muscle while standing.

lol finally someone understands how to do curls, going all the way down just snaps your elbow up, its fine with lighter weight but once you actually start building muscle and moving up on weight they only way to go all the way down and back up is to start swinging like a monkey and using your back

There is propper form and bad form. That was bad form and that's all we where trying to point out so noobs don't imitate your form.
However long your arms are the angles and range of motion are the same. Your arms being so long multiply the weight by leverage so just use a lighter weight.

You shouldnt extend fully but you should get a stretch and then come up and squeze the muscle (sorry for my bad english). im 6,5 so it isnt really a problem :P

Question: On back & bicep day I do 4 sets each of lat pull-downs, bent-over barbell rows and dead lifts, then I focus the last 4 sets on pure biceps. I'm wrapping this shit up(:D): should I do preacher curls or dumbbell curls? Which one is the most effective? Cheers guys, you're awesome, keep up the good work!
