Thats was great, could have something like that just roaming around the house, like a pet but less need for food.. maybe it could charge itself automaticly as well in a docking station? scare the hell out of anyone who comes round.

All personal robotics (for now, anyway) are learning exercises. The idea is to familiarize yourself with robots and how to communicate with them BEFORE we get to the point where we can finally start introducing domestic robots to the world.

Nice spider. Now all you have to do is cover it with brown rabbit fur, give it some LED eyes, and there you have the PERFECT Halloween prop! >:D
