  • I didn't get this movie :/

  • @aafkgirl91 you need to watch it at least three times then ... I've watched it twice this weekend and do often ... it's just so therapeutic when you start to understand what is going on.

  • my dreams are way more trippy, it's like i'm high

  • that's a really accurate depiction of a dream. most movies just show a generic scenario (the character might as well be awake), but this shows a true dream: exaggerations, innability to speak/hear properly, irrational behaviour and no plan. stuff just happens.

  • I wish my dreams were cool as that.

  • WTF

  • how can i download this video? there's no option to embede

  • FFFFFAAAAAARRRRR better than the G I Joe movie, "inception"!!!!

  • Las Pampas es in Argentina, you idiot!

-- I remember feeling this way when I was younger and every idiot I met had no geographical knowledge nor cared to. Wait, I still meet people like this

  • @haricotsvert no geographical knowledge so you must live in america?

  • Stephane's behavior made me think of schizophrenia a tad. But I thought this movie was brilliant.

  • I love this movie! The stop motion animation is fantastic. Too bad you never really movies use traditional animation like hand drawn and stop motion. It's really a dying art. As good as CGI is, it doesn't beat the traditional forms of animation.

  • this is so much like eternal sunshine

  • Really sweet movie. It's so hard to find movies this creative!

  • @laurarox01 you seen edward scissorhand?

  • I know it's irrational but ... I'm upset that I can't marry this movie...

  • @citrusyumpop i thing same about charlotte gainsborough

  • Watched this movie and didn't really thought much about it. But I haven't stopped thinking about the film and the sad sad story since. Really good movie.

  • Stephane is so adorably bizarre.

  • Perfect movie

  • that is a really great way to capture when you're first waking up! it's sort of like looking through a window from the dream at your alarm clock

  • ewwwwwwwwww I saw her nasty vagina!!

  • proud to say im a daydreamer

  • ohhh!!! que hermoso, amo a Esthepane

  • Razormon, I choose you!

  • That is really weird, pretty funny though.

  • haha i have dreams like this....and sometimes they're even odder then this. they should make more movies that saw people's dreams.

    i find it quite amusing.

  • genius! x

  • I've never seen a film portray dreams as accurately as this one. My dreams are always like this!

  • look at my vids by peter coukis

  • I swear I had that dream...

  • acid

  • Wow, that's too strange. My dreams are like that, also. They just jump around from place to place.

  • my dreams are sorta like this but not as fast. lol my dreams are soo trippy sometimes i wake up and cant figure out if it was real or not

  • @antikku01 If you can't figure out if it was real, it can't have been that trippy. :/

  • The ending makes me so sad.

  • I love this movie!

  • i love this movie, the director is awesome.

  • omg i saw that film its so f*cking crazy!!! the end is kinda sad

  • The sequence where Stéphane's hands grow extremely large is actually based on a recurring dream Gondry had as a child.

  • My dreams happen a lot slower than this lol

    This is trippy!

  • this makes me wish I could remember my dreams! Gondry is a cinematic genius :)

  • if you remove the word "genius" from you vocabulary everything returns to normal and you start to remember your dreams.

  • Well dreams are odd and I guess this sequence of the film matched that.

  • gondry dalí

  • imo eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is overrated, science of sleep is gondry's best film.

  • over rated? by who? its stil a great movie by far! you cant knock that movie because you feel this is better! theyre both great in their own respect. i feel that essm is better because it has a better plot, but i do feel that this is more creative. both have their greatness and it sure as hell dosent mean either is better than the other.

  • people are kind of allowed to have their own opinions.

  • I wanna go to sleep now!

  • O__O as expected XD

  • wicked scene. Michel Gondry's new film, Tokyo!, is similarly trippy. lol. the trailer is on youtube.

  • Spuperb scene

  • after seeing this film, i imagined i had a wierd room in my head were dreams were made!

  • This film and Waking Life are the films I would call the most accurate or at least the best way of portraying how dreaming is like.

  • how bout 81/2?

  • Makes me feel like I'm dreaming! It really captures how dreams are.

  • Love it!

  • Gondry is pure genius. hands down!!

  • I know its a werid question but does anyone know how to do this sort of animation? or what type of program they used? I'd love to be able to do something like this !

  • well, i know that the hands were paper mache...

  • its called StopMotion, you take a photo, then modify the pose, then another photo and repeat the process...

to make the video composition you can use a program like After Effects, and there is...

  • I love quirky artsy experimental indie movies with all my heart! [B

  • strange.....what IS he doing at 2:07?

    I freaked out after that

  • what does it look like

    haha :]

  • we all know what he is doing (i hope xD)

The director of this must be pretty....er...you know what i mean.

  • French? :P

    Genius anyways haha

  • ad lib: pretty "damn interesting despite accusations of being a complete basket case"

  • wtf?

pretty cool though. never seen the movie=/

  • I saw this high... amazing!

  • Haha me too! I was soo confused the whole movie, but it was pretty awesome!

  • amazing!

  • does anyone know if the dream with White Stripes playing in the background and buildings smashing/being rebuilt is on youtube, or the net?

    thanks.

    this one's great too :)

  • Best film I've seen in a while. I heart Stephane, he is so sweet!

  • This is probably one of the greatest movies of the last 10 years :-)

  • this makes twice as much sense as my dreams

  • the title of this video is funny because the whole movie is a dream sequence! haha. and its amazing.

  • more like....one of the best movies ever ,what is up with ye kind of people who cant recognize true beauty in films!its brilliant.

  • strangest movie ever...but I liked it! :D

    love all the dream sequences...

  • that was great, makes me want to watch it!

  • 2:54...the most god-awful annoying alarm clock, but still an amazing movie =)

  • i watched this movie completly stoned and i never tripped out so bad in my entire life

  • Lmao exact same with me!

  • I LOVE this movie. it makes me feel like I'm high lol

  • Gondry is pure genius.

  • agree!

  • This single scene is perhaps the pinnacle of M. Gondry's myriad achievements. Utterly phenomenal.

  • omg HAHAHAHA dat was freakin funny. jamming her hahaha

  • hahah yess one of my favorite scenes
