@kat86ily The girls doing this choregraphed this themselves, I think, but they looked at other acts done in the past, I think. Like I said, I'm not quite sure, so feel free to correct me. Second, being an acrobat is all about trust. You HAVE to trust the people you work with. But all these girls trust each other, I'm sure.

@gwyndolynelizabeth Just for the record, all music is performed live. There is never lip syncing in any Cirque performance besides a few exceptions in some clown/theatrical acts. Which is why they cast for singers who can also act in costume.

They use french in most of the shows, but in corteo, they use italian. The words and names of songs and characters( most of them) are just made up. For the songs, they take a base language, and add gibberish to it to make it sound invented

Oh god yeah, from clips Ive seen and from the live shows, the clowns and characters are always lurking around on stage to sort out mistakes. A key example is Alegria, the russian bars act has the fleur chracter walking around, he is not just a character, he is a crucial spotter...

someone who pretty much supports the person doing the act. Kinda like a safe guard, you when someone is lifting weights, they need a spotter in case the weight slits from their hands and would end up crushing them. The spotter is there to catch.

So if one of these girls were to fall hopefully a spotter would catch them, as they have no wires connected to them.

Also, the people on the ground are sometimes spotters in cognito as actors/clowns. In this case, I'm pretty sure one of the other girls would catch anyone who fell...But this is Cirque. People just don't fall in their shows.

Not all such acts have spotters. They have the Aerial Ballet in Silk in La Nouba where there are up to SIX performers very high above the stage hanging from the red silks with nothing else to grab in case of a fall. There are no spotters below and that kind of act does not allow using safety cables either. I guess it would be dangerous too for a spotter to try to catch someone falling from 30 feet or more.

Intitially the artists were given a very different aparatus to work with and midway through the process of developing an act the show producer took the equipment away and canned the act. Then they recieved the triple trapeze and had only few weeks to put an act together.
