No, that is the exhaust. It's a 1-chamber Flowmaster. Its not being used as a "resonator". Resonators are placed toward the end of the pipe, after a muffler(s)

Looks like a cherry bomb extreme to me, not a resonator. If you like the sound, just cut off the turndowns and run two pipes out the back. That should tone it down a tad.
