  • You cannot count on counting the cards because you deal with 6 decks of cards. I am an avid gambler and a mathematician.

  • no slots are hot, they are all losing maschines but some less than others. reels are controlled by probability of hitting certain combinations, and probability does not have a memory, every spin is independent

  • Especially now with the new "Server Based Gaming " system for slots.

Just do a Bing search on it. Look for an article that About.com has posted.

Slots are no longer operated solely by the RNG within a slot machine, but a main computer by the casino operator (monitoring in real time) who can change the pay-out percentage instantly on a whim. I quit playing slots after reading this.

  • i play slots all the time cuz i live right by a casino and i get bored lol...i usually win or break even..but its true there is no system...i usually just play a machine and if it doesnt hit in the first few times i leave :D...usually, in my case, it seems that if a machine hits right off the bat..it usually hits a few more times..and ALWAYS bet max :D...then thats how you get ur poker money :D

  • dont they use 4-6 decks now and shuffle cards often does this make it harder or impossible to count?

  • In some cases it's 15% or even more, like on nickel machines. Even if you could calculate the breakeven point of a progressive slot machine, you're forgetting about taxes, slow payouts, the slew, etc.

  • Makes perfect sense!
