hey, im also now 27 weeks with my 4th baby (a boy) your bump looks identical to mine except ive a bit of love handles at the side but i guess thats from haing 4 kids by 27!

I know youve prob had yours by now so congrats, for now im enjoying every sec of the pregnancy as i lost a little boy at 26 weeks last year.

Oh, how exciting this is! I think pregnancy is so exciting, and it really brings out more of a woman's natural beauty, too. It always seems as if boys are "carry" like a basketball, round, low, but nothing from the back.

Most people who "carry" boys are "skinny" all over except for the belly area. Girls have a definite "fixture," and I can usually tell by the way the mother's "carrying" what she's gestating. Anyway, I hope all is going well, and excuse my "rant."

Oops! As usual, when hurrying, I make errors. While rereading my previous comment (above/below) I noticed a few mistakes; although, let me quickly reiterate. It seems like when a women is having a boy, she "carries a very round belly."

The only other thing that widens in the mom-to-be when having a boy is the butt area. I really believe this has to do with the hormones creating the sex organs, but I could be wrong. It's just a theory. Women seem to carry very differently with girls ...

Im 27 weeks now. I hvent had my glucose test yet. i have a hospital apointment on the 21st so maybe i will have it then, seeming as though i have no idea what i going there for. But then i have my next midwife appointment on 8th feb so who knows whats happening lol. Love your baby by the way he is adorable, Im having a little girl according to our sexing scan

i was born at 27 weeks

managed to survive after 3 and a half months in an incubator in an intisive care unite but im now 14 and strong :)

luckily me and my mum both pulled through.

and i respect my mum so much for what she went through.

wow.. thats amazing i was born around 25 weeks, i was 3 months early and i had a twin sister she died though 8 hrs after we were born =( i was in intensive care for about 4 months im 14 and strong now too! lol

lol..is that your regular doctor or a different one? she was thinking you were 30 weeks when your 27..lol

Don't worry too much about the growth being ahead. When I went at my 27 week appointment I was measuring 33cm!! Then at my next one I was 31 and now when I'm 36 weeks I am 35 cm. It just depends on your the growth of baby,fluid levels or the babies position when they measure you.

The babies heartbeat is soo strong and fast..good to hear.Your bump does not look that big either! Take care :)

That was my regular midwife -- she's going to see me again next week to check the size. Keep your fingers crossed that everything's okay!
