Magnetometers are just tools for measuring magnetic fields. Much like how accelerometers measure inertia. They are not free energy machines. Free energy doesn't exist.

@AbYouSir gravity is free. and most hydroelectric plants are based on gravity pulling water down onto a turbine. why couldnt magnetic force be used for the same thing. oh yaa, magnets lose their force over hundreds of years so it wont be a perpetual machine. 400 years sounds good enough for me. the whole idea that electricity need coal or nuclear fusion is ridiculous.

@zebb1111 One reason is friction Which stops any significant amount of energy to be generated and used. The other is that an equal amount of energy would be needed to reset the system that made the energy in the first place, and because some energy is always lost it actually takes more energy to reset the system than what it creates. Hydro electric plants work because the thousands of tons of water are reset by nature. Or we would have to carry the water back up

Your digestive system broke down the energy of the shrimp into a combustible form, which you then burned. NO energy was created. AND, because of that conversion process, some of the potential energy stored in the shrimp was actually lost. Thus, you are wrong my friend. Free energy just doesn't exist.

its an instrument for measuring the intensity of a magnetic field, especially the earth's magnetic field.
