This is why I don't like bicycle helmets - they give a false sense of security. A helmet does nothing to protect the rest of your body as this kid found out by breaking his wrist and shoulder.

Good judgment is what protects your body the best and this kid has none. I don't even own a bicycle helmet and have NEVER been injured on a bicycle after decades of riding because I don't try stupid stunts like this.
