You should try the harmonic minor scale, and then add some inversions, 7ths, or even some tensions to your chords to make them yours completely. Learn a little bit of chord harmony ( Major chord scale= M1, m2, m3, M4, M5, m6, diminished 7. Minor chord scale= m1, diminished 2, M3, m4, m5, M6, M7), which tells you how each chord relates to one another in a key. Chord progressions, whiles there are rules, are better learned by ear, in my opinion.
Jaysus. YES YES! ^_____^ Keep those tutorials coming. :3 <3 <3 <3 It's always greatttt to hear producers using FL Studio like a king to other studios. :D <3 Better than my mixes for sure. :3 <3

@Broyale26 why start with harmonic minor? melodic minor is more useful for underpinning most chord progressions.

D# is a theoretical key not a practical one this is why there is no musicianship left in today's music
