  • this song always sends a shiver down's my spine ... im not the biggest lorrie fan but this has to be one of the greatest country songs ever

  • This is one of my favorite songs and Lorrie is so stunningly gorgeous in this video.

  • 90's were the best in music. Case closed.

  • simply stunning what a beauty and one of the most incredible voices, when you hear it you know exactly who it is.where in the hell did she go and why, I do understand the loss she had but cant imagine why she dropped out of the music scene.

  • After the 90's, country music went to shit.

  • ahhhhhhhhh memories!!!!!

  • SHE was really something.........

  • Why does that last verse give me chills up and down my body?...

  • I still am having a hard time realizing this is 20 years old already. it seems like just the other day. I watched it for the first time on CMT, thinking how adorable she was. She still is - (we ALL are, right? lol)

  • i love this video i grew up on all the old country this is one of my fav lorrie morgan videos:)

  • Clever song using the color of dresses for life's changes ... a bit overblown for a country song but I still like this one.

  • hay dose anybody know this song from Lori Morgan it's called this kiss by Lorie Morgan

  • @26Kattitude Faith Hill sings This Kiss

  • @26Kattitude are you sure you're not talking about this Kiss by Faith Hill?

  • Beautiful song.

  • 11 people have not found it yet....

  • This always makes me cry

  • @Mopar21277 what countdown are you referring to? was it a look back special that aired or etc..?

  • @ds94541 You and me both..to me the 90s decade of country music and artist has been the best yet!!

  • the widow of keith whitley, you never heard of her till he passed on.

  • @tdan1 guess you never watced CMT or did some serious dancing back in the 80's-90's. I know every word to every song and ive never owned her cd's. and Ive just now found these, ive just now got the internet after 10 years. so what about who?" Keith Whitley" didnt get any airtime TILL HE DIED and thats a dam shame too. but the latest song by ? hmmm someone who sings about "If I die young... its worth more after im dead..."

  • @oldgraymareears the band perry sings if i die young

  • @cupcake11111s Grow Up....................

  • On CMTs countdown to paraphrase Sara Evans and Blake Shelton:

Sara: " I thought this has to be the most beautiful woman in the world, she is just so stunning with that red dress and short hair."

Blake: "I loved the video and thought man, those are huge..."

  • A great song that brings up some good memories. I just read that Lorrie will be playing at the Yavapai College Auditorium here in Prescott in Feb. 2012, with the fantastic Pam Tillis, another favorite from my teenage years. I hope to be there!

  • I miss Lorrie Morgan. Actually I miss all the ladies from early 90's country.

  • OFF THE CHARTS EXCELLENT

  • Lorrie, I opened the show the night that you backed into a floor monitor and fell. Your dress came up over your head. You got up dusted yourself off and without missing a beat said to the audience, " You can see I found something in red" LOL You were wearing red bikini' s

  • i heard this once when i was in high school while i was traveling through radio stations. it was 15 years ago and i finally found this song again.

  • Who are the eleven fool's that did not like this .

  • @168waco now its up to 14 dislikes... What kind of fool would ever dislike anything she sang...For me to dislike something someone posted it would have to be so horrible not unlikeable but horrible.

  • She sure rocks that red dress! I would listen to the song, but I cant get past her beauty!

  • Who are the eleven fools?

  • good song

  • 11 people want something in a different color

  • i love this song

  • Just beautiful.... Her and the song.....

  • This song on the radio was the first song from Lorrie and she just pulled in the listener with her emotion she displayed vocaly in this music. Fantastic

  • i wonder is she ever found what she was looking for

  • I was in a dance Line dance group of 14 members ..We won a talent show in DC back whenthis song came out ..We realy had a great routine to this song.. Awesome song " BTW...We did a waltz mixer!!

  • Thanks for the memories you will allways remind me

  • I've loved this song since I was a kid...it still stirs me, just as it did back then...if anything, even more so now that I'm an adult and better understand!

  • Great Waltz song

  • such a beautiful woman, such a sad life! From Keith on!

  • Chuck screw up, damb you Shazam

  • I'm dancing to this in a show in a few weeks and I honestly thought it was sung by Dolly Parton!

  • This song is as real as it gets. Oh, and uh, Lorrie Morgan is a classy woman and a highly skilled musician.

  • So 80s...but decent song...

  • As stunning as her beauty is, her voice is more amazing all i can say is wow

  • whatever happened to this dynamo .........?

I miss her talent. please please please come back to us.

you made men WANT to be romantic 8-)

  • Lorrie is quite the singer. I wonder because she has had such a tragic life if she has a natural ability to convey strong emotion in her songs. She certainly has that ability!

  • Such a really sad song...

  • From a time when "CMT" meant "Country Music Television" NOT "Current Musical Trends". The "noise" that is passed off as counrty today is just that, so much noise!!!

  • PURE WOMAN.................

  • Well if that does not knock your socks off nothing will.

  • How about the 11 fools that gave this thumbs down !!!!!......Must be jealous females....This is the most beautiful woman in Nashville

  • I love this song

  • . One of the most absolutely beautiful songs I have ever heard. What talent-GENIUS. This a song about LIFE!

  • Great video. Although I'm not a diehard country fan, some songs really touch me. This is one which goes back, but has always stayed in my memories. Too bad most new artists don't make quality music-they won't be remembered by the listener after decades. Good music stays in the soul.

  • I saw Lori at Harborfest in Norfolk VA many years ago when this song was popular. Keith Whitley had died several years before but you could tell she was sad. She sang the notes out of this song and several others that day.

  • Yeah, do any of the music channels actually play music videos anymore?

  • love the song and love her too!!! She is my mothers favorite and happens to be one of mine... its too bad we dont see anything new from her anymore!

  • my all time favorite by Lorrie, though all her songs are great.

  • What a fabulous woman's song--the ultimate! Thank you so much, potts!

  • I love this song, always have, now I know why :)

  • I want the instrumental version... Where can I find that? I would love to walk down the ailse to that but not with the lyrics.

  • Fabulous--thanks, Potts!

  • What happened to Lorrie? After Keith died she kind of faded away and I always loved her!

  • Lorrie has had such a sad life.

  • WONDERFUL SONG, LORRIE AND YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL !

  • She is hot.

  • I've always loved this song.

  • yup, in my top 10

    JeffKendall44@aol

  • she is a good singer and such a range for her voice :)

  • One of my FAVORITE songs!!!!!!

  • I remember this was so controversal when it first came out. Seeing these old video's you remember when sexy was all suggestion and shadow in loose concealing clothing. When a bra strap just barely peeking out was so sexy.

Whenas in silks my Julia goes

Then, then (methinks) how sweetly flows

    That liquefaction of her clothes.

Next, when I cast mine eyes, and see

That brave vibration each way free,

O how that glittering taketh me!

    ---Robert Herrick

  • I love this video of Lorrie

  • love this song its amazing

  • A career has to be fed and constantly groomed. Never let your personal life get so out of control that you lose it all. Back when she sang this song, she was at the top of her game and she, like this song, was.....beautful. She was really something........

  • Always loved her and this is my favourite song of hers.

Michael from the RED CHAIR diaries in Bedford NOVA SCOTIA

  • Lorrie is fantastic, when Country music first started its transition to more mainstream listeners, she was one that i noticed right away, before then i was hooked on the classic folks ,Conway, Loretta ,Tammy, and of course the great Patsy.

Then Garth came along and with Lorrie,Alan,Travis,Pam,Reba etc changed country music forever..... Lorrie had such a stunning presence about her and what a voice ! Beauty from within , and not many women can wear that hair style and look as sexy !!

  • This song is about real life issues between a man and a woman. The video is great.

  • What a beautiful song. I've always loved Lorrie's ballads.

I remember when this first was released.

I went out & bought the CD almost immediately! :-)

  • i thought she said something STRAPLESS......that dress had straps....the song is beyond excellent...but the video....well.....sucks. LOL...would have been better if she sang each verse dressed accordingly to the color/outfit she sang about. or even go into a boutique and sing as she tries on the dresses then at the end she wears the red dress and enters the house as her husband turns to look at her they stare at each other but you only see her reaction.....that would have been better!

  • This was my favorite song of Lorrie's... still is really... It was my dream of meeting my Mr. Right...

  • i like this song

  • One of, if not the best music videos from Lorrie Morgan, maybe even one of the best country music videos ever, a timeless classic!

  • Heard this for the first time when it first came out.. loved it then. Learned it and sang it often and in many places for many an audience. I had no idea 15 years later, it would hold such truth. A wonderful song indeed.

  • Always brings the late Paul Walters to mind.

  • I interviewed her in 1992 on the grounds of Opryland Hotel. NIce Lady. She was married to Keith Whitley. I have no clue where she is today. I do love that voice.

  • I LOVE YOU LORRIE. YOU WHERE A PLEASURE TO MEET AND WORK FOR. I ALSO LOVED KEITH AND KNOW FOREVER HE REMAINS IN YOUR HEART You have a wonderful son apart of you and Keith.THANKS FOR BEING SO DOWN TO EARTH, SO KIND. SO MANY I WORKED FOR NOT LIKE YOU STUCK. • Just Beautiful!

  • I've always loved this video. The part where she sings "Something real tiny, the baby's brand new" brings tears to my eyes every time. So sweet. :)

  • i love this song thanks

  • CMT never plays videos anymore...all sitcoms and reality took over

  • love this song....ever since the first time i heard it...i was alot younger then

  • When I wasn't living this song, I thought it was beautiful. Now I have to sort of shut down part of my brain to still enjoy it.

  • She'll always love Keith... I miss REAL Ladies, with REAL voices who make REAL music like this....

  • Lorrie Morgan was rockin in the 90's, one of her best songs and music videos!

  • Angela Kaset.....THE Songwriter. Yes, of course Lorrie Morgan was the lottery winner artist that bought the rights to record this incredible song....and she did a fabulous job with it.....a great talent. But let's pay tribute to Angela Kaset and this ....her masterpiece.

  • This song is definitely older than I am, but growing up living with my grandma, I learned to love music like this. I happened to think of this song the other day, so I looked it up to see if I still liked it, and I do.

  • she hot and a great song to

  • This is epic country

  • This was my favorite song as a little girl. I hope that I'll one day play it as a wedding song.

  • Happened to be at the performance that she tripped over the stage moniter. Her dress when up over her waist. lol What a recovery she made. She just said, " Well as you can tell, I found something in red" . lol Great.

  • She seems to be putting forth all of the effort in the relationship. She has to run out and buy all that stuff just to get him and then to keep him.

  • ....Sonic Alchemy....

  • sure do miss her where have you been lorrie?

    hmmmmmm!

  • Just happened across this video by Lorrie.

Had not heard it since it first was released, and I found it just as stirring as that first time I heard it.

Truly a song with heart rending emotion. Wonderful!

    Steveway32

  • Angela Kaset....the Songwriter.

.....yes, Lorrie did a great job.....but he real story her is the song itself. Thank you Angela.

  • Die Frau ist der Hammer geil, geil, geil

  • how can Avril Lavigne have 122 million hits on you tube when there are singers like this or Blondie singing Maria?

  • @garybaher cause the majority of todays youth are fuckin morons who are easily entertained by hollow "voices"

  • @garybaher well said!

  • WOW this was when CMT actually played videos!

  • I know exactly what you mean, CMT doesn't play music anymore, just early in the monring, the rest of the day, it's crap.

  • @thestorm115 Some of the shows are cool but yes I miss the videos too. VH1 and MTV has made the same mistake and it is a shame because I love music videos very much too.

  • @thestorm115 my husband & I had just said this. LoL Mind you they play videos at very small time frames now but most of the videos now seem to be more 'pop' then country :(

  • @thestorm115

There is no such thing as a music channel anymore. : (

  • @thestorm115 CMT had to go the same way MTV went and that's DOWN. They're both bad these days. I mean CMT showing movies? WTF! If I want to watch movies,I will either buy them off Directv, or the not current movies, I will rent them or watch them on USA network, TNT. Spike, FX. We don't need CMT to show movies when there is plenty now the way it is. CMT was made for showing "Country Music Videos." But I guess it's just like society, MTV, CMT, good music, is all gone. Hopefully not forever!

  • I'm a man. I saw Lorrie at the Havelock Jamboree about 5 years ago. She melted my heart. As a single dad of three teenagers, I would gladly entertain Lorrie in any colour she chose to wear.

  • @kentsbay sweet! Is she as beautiful as when she performed this video in the 90's? I bet she is!

  • lvu the song / video lorrie is awesome

  • Nice rack.

  • i had to write. that was so funny i laughed myself to sleep last night.....

  • Troy Aikman what in the world were you thinking when you broke up with Lorrie. Were you on drugs or what. She was the touchdown. She is the Superbowl. You must of fumbled this one Troy. What a beautiful lady.
