All of my experience as a (very bad) artist, living for the last fifteen years with a woman who was raised to be ashamed of her talent and intelligence and my experience supporting great artists here on Youtube has shown me that many people, especially women are not simply judging themselves a bit too harshly. They are afraid that success will isolate them, either because other people will be jealous or intimidated by their talent success etc. (Continued...)
