  • I have dizziness also...It is has been a daily occurence now for about a month. I have started seeing a Upper Cervical Chiropractor. If you are suffering from dizziness and do not have a medical diagnosis as to why, PLEASE read online about treatment by a Upper Cervical Chiropractor!

  • i did this over the summer and it seem to work untill this morning i thought the world was gonna end. when i sat up on my bed my head literally was spinning so fast i was like on a jet doing a g pull and make my stomach feel empty. performed epley and now feelin a bit better and also took some tylenol. epley only treats bppv for a short time before coming back

  • why my vertigo keeps on coming back like every 3 to 4 months i can not longer affor to go to the Dr. hospital wont tell me anything they just say ok you been diagnost with vertigo, i already know that, i need to stop from coming back, any advise??

  • @myDiosmiAmor I know its been awhile since you posted this comment, but I'll tell you what I know. BPPV which causes Vertigo, has a 40 to 60% reoccurrance rate, which means its likely to come back after some time. Unfortunately, there is no cure and you're stuck with it for the rest of your life. I'm not a medical doctor but I've read up about this from reputable sources such as Mayo Clinic. If it didn't go away after using this Epley method the first time, it won't ever unless you have surgery

  • I hate dizzy. I tried this a while back, it did not help I have been to many specialists still no diagnosis. This affects my life daily. It affects me all day long for 1 year and 8 months, I have neck pain as well when I go to physical therapy 4 my neck my dizzy symptoms ease.

  • i'm experiencing my positional vertigo now. i would love to try this, but i'm afraid that it might just get worst or something. is this really effective? please anyone tell me. i have a lot of things needs to be done and i can't even move well. =|

  • AMAZING! I had BPPV a few months ago, Doc said it would clear shortly, I got fed up, tried this first thing one morning, worked straight away. I tried to keep my head upright for the rest of the day, no brace or anything though. All clear since! One word of warning - my head went absolutely mental when I did it!

  • This is the Dix-Hallpike maneuver

  • I've been having vertigo for 6 months. True to American's health care system my doc ignored me. I finally had enough and he sent me to a Ear Nose Throat doc who said I need to get an Epley manuever done. I couldn't get an appt 4 3 wks! I found this video and did it. The ENT said to wear a neck brace for 48hrs aft and do nothing, no walking, cooking, just watch TV and sleep on a recliner. POOF I'm good now and I don't have to pay the ENT for doing this!

  • Does anyone know if i can do this on both sides as am not sure which ear is causing my vertigo?....thanks anyone who can help with this question....

  • @MrCOLTSR2 Do a search for the "Dix-Hallpike Maneuver and Roll Test". It's a similar exercise to the Epley maneuver to determine which side is the problem. It worked for me.

  • @TheDeepBlueWater thank you..

  • Got mine (positional vertigo) from a massage

  • I have had positional vertigo attacks for over a month. Found this on the Internet and tried it. Wasn't sure which way to turn my head so I did once each way. Felt unwell most of the day, but no dizziness. Now I am on day two and still no attacks. Hope it doesn't come back. I did not stay upright 24 hours, but did try to sleep propped up with pillows last night. Thank goodness I can move around again and not fear falling over!

  • I was diagnosed with this in an emergency room bout 6 yrs. ago, didn't do nothing bout it @ first, then it started gettin worse, so i started a maneuver by tilting my head & hitting behind my ears 20 times on ea. side & it worked @ first, then i got so drunk bout a couple wks ago & it came back, don't know if it was the drunkness or the falling, but this is the first time i'm trying this maneuver so i'm hoping it works. I hate this feeling, it gets me so down & i'm even scared 2 do anything.

  • I've had it for almost 7 years now. PLEASE KILL ME>

  • Mine was getting so bad, if I tilted my head back too long, I'd fall over because I'd lose my balance. Did this about an hour ago, and so far, I can tilt my head back with no problems of loss of balance.

  • hi, how many times will you do this? thanks

  • Hahaha my last name is the name of this!!!! Im just glad its helping people

  • Keep in mind many need to start this by tilting your head in the other direction, depending on which side is your "problem" side.

  • i am having a vertigo attack as i type this. ughhhhhh very stressful

  • I'm a twelve year old girl and I've had severe dizziness for about a year and a half now. My parents have taken me to the doctor four times... But nothing helps, and I've had lots of blood tests. I usually get it when I'm sitting down at school or when I'm sitting in an assembly or dark room. When I'm standing up, I feel almost normal. I have the dizziness 24/7 but a lot of the time I can hardly notice it, unless I TRY to notice it. Do you have any tips? It is really starting to affect me.

    :) L

  • @LaurenWuzHere Oh yeah, and my family and I... We're pretty sure this is because of anxiety, but I don't feel anxious when it usually happens. :)

  • @LaurenWuzHere

Yeah same thing here, basically. I had it for about 4-5 months last year then it abruptly went away in September but came back again as of this May.

  • @AGunNamedExtinction That is the same for me. Well, it never went away, but ever since I started taking ginger pills (you can buy them at a drug store without a prescription) it's gotten a lot better. But ever since late May it's gotten so much worse.... Maybe it is because of stress?

  • omg thank you so much for the video i was told that i had vertigo about a week ago when i suddenly woke up and my eyes were spinning uncontrollably and i thought after a few days it would go away like most things but it of course only got slightly better but did not go fully away now ive just tries this exercise about an hour ago and im feeling way better not 100% yet but a lot better so seriously thank you cause if this keeps up ill be able to start going to the gym

  • Thanks, my mother-in-law was just diagnosed with BPPV today, I shall tell her about this, or should I??? lol!!

  • Is there a causal factor for BPV, benign positional Vertigo, I had a bit of a (explosive sneezing) event ( about 6 or 8 hyper sneezes in a hour). I would think such a event could trigger my BPV which resulted about 8 hours later in the middle of the night. This is an reoccurance for me. My wife is questioning me regarding allergy event in the past day too. What triggers this, anyone hear any good theories. Frank

  • She looks like queen Amidala!!

  • i just tried this. i got up slowly. i fell strait to my bed like something pushed me down... and i dont feel any better :(

  • PART 2-This exercise is not a cure but a treatment. My doctor stated I may never get BPPV again our it may come back. She also stated that if it came back to start the exercise again until I could complete the entire exercise with no symptoms. Well it is back today and I have started my exercises again. But if I need to do this every couple yrs. to keep my head straight it is well worth it. As soon as it comes back begin exercises to catch those ear rocks before they travel to far. GOOD LUCK!

  • PART 1. I have had BPPV for about 20 years. It would go and come. 3 yrs ago my therapist placed me on these exercises 3 times a day until my symptoms disappeared (it took about a month). I had a severe case and many times after doing the exercise I would vomit and feel like yuck. I had to make my self do it but it was so worth it.

  • check both ears, its not hard,I had particles in both ,do one ear one week then ,one the next it does work, also my doc used a vibrating device behind my ear in the first move where she throws her self back ,,,also I think her head should be further back toward the floor,,,,,,

  • do you really have to keep your head vertically positioned for the whole day?

  • DAMN! I'M CURED!! THIS REALLY WORKS!! NO MORE DIZZINESS AFTER DOING THE MANEUVER!!

  • my sister and i both started experiencing BPPV at the same age (~39yo). she seems to think it may have something to do with the fact that we spent a LOT of time on our trampoline as kids. any support to that theory? she seems to be getting worse and i am following. it would be great to end this for good. any other suggestions for treatment?

  • @dorenelove

i would look more into genetical connection if anything , u both suffer from same condition , might be a weakness inside the utricle , hard to say .

Epley should work well but it's only part of the deal , the aftermath of the Bppv is the real pain , for that VRT can work well , i think it's very much possible to get better but it is not easy , as it seems u r prone to bppv try maybe to sleep in a position where the ottoconia less likely to enter the canal.

  • They are still trying to find a diagnosis for my spins (which I have had for a year now), had the MRI, and EEG and seen an ENT and no-one is sure what is wrong with me as I dont have nystagmus. I have done the Epley maneuvers various times, but it hasnt sorted me out yet. I tried it again just now and am trying staying with my head pretty much still for the next 24 hours. It is no fun at all and I am just so fed up of not being able to live my life :(

  • I am in the process of recovering from a very servere case of Labyrinthitis. The exercises shown in this video and the Epley maneuvers have helped me enormously. This recent set of symptoms have been my worst so far and I wouldn't want to wish these on anyone, even my worst enemy! Good luck all you suffers out there!

  • P.s. My Dr. wasn't able to tell me which ear, as by the time I saw him it passed.

  • Which ear is the bad ear? I pull severely to the left, so is the left one the bad ear??? Help!

  • This video is for right sided nystagmus.

  • I often felt vertigo when i turned my head to the left side while lying on bed, does it mean my effected ears are on the left side and shld start the test on my right then turn to left?

  • I thought that you had to start looking to the side corresponding to the ear that is affected - for some it will be to the right, others to the left.

  • I have very mild positional vertigo that has never required treatment, but over the weekend, it was exacerbated by a trip into the mountains. I watched your video yesterday and tried the maneuver this morning. It worked like a charm, and now I am symptom-free. Thank you so much for providing this valuable tool!

  • I have been suffering from vertigo and dizziness for the past 2 years and i went to doctors but it didnt work..during vertigo my eyes moves side to side and i cant read or see clearly for sometime and sometime in the sleep i get a smashing sound in my ear so do i suffer from BPPV?????

  • I really want to thank the people who put this video here because I've done this maneuver to my mother and the BPV vanished.

  • my ent said i needed to remain upright for at least 24 hours after this maneuver for it to work properly. for sleep no more reclined than in a recliner chair.

  • i think i have bppv i cant afford aan MRI scan so will try to see if this works. im on betaserc, a medicine for vertigo. how many minutes is this exercise and how many repititions? please help friends.

  • I feel so miserable right now and I'm so tired of not being able to sleep in a way I want because I get sooo dizzy. It's so bad I have to vomit. Does anyone knows what causes this?

  • I hit my head falling off a motorcycle. symptoms came 3 days later. I just looked it up from wikipedia and did these maneuvers 5 minutes each 3x. Now i realise it's 30 seconds. I feel so sick and dizzy right now. Did I make it worse???

  • AJprofsr,

You should go see a doctor today if this came from a head injury.

It could be something life threatening. Seriously, go see a doctor and let them check you out and fix it.

If you don;t have money, go to the emergency room. They have to treat you regarless of your ability to pay.

    Go see a doctor.

  • Wear a helmet.

  • @AJprofsr I did repeat this with 30 second positionings 3 times once a day for about four days and it did eventually go away. I stopped before i was 100% better and let myself heal naturally for the next week or so. I'm 100 percent better now. It took about 2 weeks and it was a scary thing to go through but it's ok bcuz it does clear up with time. Even though it seems like forever! Be patient and u'll b alright.

  • I just got back from the hospital with terrribblle dizziness caused by a viral inner ear infection. The physician did this maneuver with me about an hour and a half ago and I am still feeling dizziness but no where near as bad (plus he put me on meclizine as well) I dont know.. I pray to God it works... I cant function like this!

  • Man reading everyone elses comments is kind of discouraging. I've done this 3 or 4 nights now and I might only be 50% better than when it first started bothering me.

It's really insane, this bppv stuff. Completely cripples me from doing what I want to.

  • Good helpful video. I wonder if you can just do this yourself or should/need to go to an ENT first.

This maneuver solves this issue for 80% of people compared to only 3% who don't do it.

  • works with morning sickness too. TG!

  • i have bppv AND tinnitus. they both SUCK!!!!!! help???

  • Just had this done on Friday at an ENT office, it's amazing. What the video doesn't say, and what my doc did, was to start the 30 second count after the dizzyness/nystagmus (uncontrollable eye movement) stops, not as soon as your head is down or you change position. We did the entire sequence three times in the office, then he recommended I sleep in a recliner for the night so the loose crystal (the cause of bppv-can) re-adhere. I felt slightly off-balance for a day or so, but now I feel great!

  • PS... he also said to look down at my lap while in the sitting position.

  • I had this done in 2008 after many years of dizzy spells. I haven't had one since then. This maneuver really works.

  • I had this done in 2008 after suffering from terrible dizzy spells when lying down or tilting my head back. This maneuver was a life saver. I haven't had a spell since then.

  • I only did this once and I haven't had vertigo since.

  • Don't be an idiot. You can't stop it once it happens. It takes a really long time to stop feeling disoriented. The whole world spins and you constantly feel like you need to throw up.

  • igree, im sick right now and thats how it feels like, i been like this for 4 weeks now and my Doc says it takes a lot of exercise and time to be recover....

  • I can't wait to try the manuvers. Here's my question though -- How do they, as manuvers, have an effect on the inner ear which is ground zero for all balance and equilibrim issues? I heard that usually, the Inner Hair cell/'s are off balance, and the manuvers reset them. I heard that from an ER doctor.

  • Small crystals (sludge) can build up in the inner ear fluid but doesn't cause a problem if it stays in the same place. If the sludge shifts to a different part of the inner ear canals, the fluid there moves at a different speed than normal, which causes the nerve cells to send signals to the brain which now don't match the visual input from the eyes. Brain thinks, I must have eaten something bad: Start puking!

The manuver causes the sludge to slosh back to where it belongs. Worked for me.

  • I was diagnosed with BPPV by my Doc yesterday and she prescribed antivert for the nausea. I have felt dizzy for 4 days. I did this procedure about 30 mins ago for the hell of it and I honestly feel an immediate difference!! I had to wake up my partner and tell him. I can look left to right without everything going swoosh. Thank you and people should definitely try this!

  • don't forget your eating habits can also cause it back. i had to stop drinking coffee, coke, choco drinks, eating salty foods, for almost a year. now im back to normal.

  • @petalfin I'm glad your symptoms resolved, but you may have Ménière's disease instead. It is caused by extra fluid in your ears, instead of calcium debris. In addition to vertigo, it can have extra symptoms such as ringing in your ears/hearing loss/pain. The treatment for this is dietary changes.

  • @passiflora79 Thank you for posting this - much appreciated.

  • This really does work! It is hard to do as it makes u spin but just take ur time with it and go slow. It took me about 1 week to come good after I did it the first time, but in that week I did it again 3 times alternating the side I started on. I was still dizzy that week but it was different no big spins just little ones like being on a boat so I knew it had done something. Now i'm absolutely fine no problems at all. Hope this helps remember the to stay relaxed when u do it good luck.

  • I'm 29 and had BPPV for 10 years off and on. Had this done by ENT Dr at hospital yesterday and its true - you do have to stay upright as much as possible - ie, sleep with lots of pillows and dont bend over, etc but I was told for 3 days. No more major dizzies, but still not 100% yet... I've been told to give it time and it should go eventually... this is the home manouver but I wouldnt try it until you have been diagnosed and treated by a proper Dr.

  • This looks, interesting. I have had this issue for the past 4-5 months now. I am always getting dizzy when I lie down or bend over. Its just so horrible to wake up in the morning and feeling dizzy and unstable. I actually fell one time from suffering this problem. I told my parents about it and my mother had the same problem a couple months ago. I am 13 years old and have never had horrible issue like this. Hopefully I can find out how to make it all better.

  • Hey I have had the same thing for around 2 months. I did this it wasn't easy because it makes u spin, but it has really helped. Still a little light headed but getting better every day no more big spin outs thank god. You don't have to do it as fast as they do it here u can just go slow that way u don't spin as much good luck it will get better.

  • So young, mate i fell it all and understand completely, this seems to be a growing problem though O.o

  • I went to a Ear Nose and throat clinic where a specialist performed this manoeuver last week. After the process i was told not to lie down for four hours but after this I would be "cured". Although I didn't believe such a simple procedure would work I was amazed and pleased to say that it has been totally successful thus enabling me to indulge in all aspects of my new hobby - poledancing. Incidentally - I didn't even know that I had BPV before takling up this hobby! Anyway - almost a miracle!

  • I have vertigo now for 2 going on 3 months and I have checked into this maneuver and acording to when the doctos do it to you They want you sit up for 24 hours you can't lie down. If you go to sleep you have to stay in a sitting postiition with pillows holding your neck up . Did anyone hear of this?

  • yeah me and my aunt sat up 24 hours as per advise of our chiro. we did this after the maneuver.

its been 2yrs now and my vertigo hasnt come back. im not sure perhaps because im still young and the recover could be faster. im only 30yrs old.

  • Comment removed

  • I have suffered from periodical bouts of vertigo. I have had this maneuver done a few times. Never was I told to sit up for 24 hours. They told me not to lay down for a few hours after the maneuver, I sleep on my side and had no problems.

  • I had vertigo pretty badly upon getting out of bed for two nights. Then, fortunately, I had my regular chiropractic appointment. The chiro did the usual neck-cracking bit and that seemed to do the trick. Either it cleared up a nerve blockage or it got the calcium bits in the inner ear back to where they belonged. Anyway, don't overlook chiropractic for this, it may well help.

  • I had my first vertigo attack back in 1998. Listening to Howard Stern before work and my alarm went off. Rolled over to turn off my alarm and kept rolling. Scared the crap outa me. Bouts would last 2-3 days then go away but I would only feel lightheaded, no dizziness or spinning. Went to an ear doctor recently here in Memphis, Shae Ear Clinic and had a ton of tests done. Positional Vertigo. Had 3 meds that worked right away but it kept the symptoms away for 2 months. Hope thiss maneuver helps.

  • I first got this after laying down in an awkward position with my neck bent backwards while watching TV for about 2 hours straight. I springed up when I was done and instantly had my first ever dizzy vertigo attack. That was 3 months ago. It's horrible to live with this problem, but I just tried this video and for the past 2 hours I haven't felt much dizziness at all. I hope this works for long-term.

  • you shuld go to an audiologist so that they can do a vestibular work up on you and correct the underlying problem appropriately

  • Comment removed

  • Well hooray for YouTube grammar police. While you weren't completely rude like most people who make grammar/spelling comments, was it even necessary? I think not. Go get a teaching job if you like correcting people's writing.

  • We don't like correcting grammar, but English in disintegrating in the U.S. Somebody has to say something. Do you really want to be illiterate your whole life?

  • And I don't like grammatical errors. The ever shrinking vocabulary and syntactical slovenliness of the American public do not bode well for a future where critical thinking will be required if we are to survive.

  • Amen.

  • You should have put a hyphen in "ever-shrinking".

  • I would like a sheet with diagrams so that I can do this Epley maneuver. Seeing it once on video--and I can't seem to get it to play again--is not enough!

  • WOW! Thanks for sharing this info!

  • This may sound funny but I'm not trying to be.. I believe my BPPV is caused by many years of headbanging to heavy metal music. I am almost 46 years old.

  • You're right, that did make me giggle. You probably knocked a screw loose. Heee

  • I get a bout of vertigo every year or so. I have just gotten over it with this maneuver. After I did it I became even more dizzy than I had been, and I felt sick to mt stonach. After about 30 to 60 min. all my symptoms disappeared !! It really works! This is the 3rd time that I have had to do this in just over 4 years

  • Fuck yea BPPV sucks. I'm 23 years old and have had it for two years! Age is not restricted with this crap. Pray you dont get it!

  • I'm 21, and until now, I've been able to lay down and spring up out of bed as fast as I wanted. I recently got these horrible dizzy spells when getting in/out of bed for a few days now. I haven't gone to the doctor but I'm positive it's BPPV. It sucks, bad. Anyone who doesn't have it, pray you don't get it.

  • My wife woke up dizzy & couldn't raise her head off the pillow, went to ER by ambulance & had the epley procedure done twice within a two hour period by ER doctor. Was able to walk to the car & from the car to the house. I helped her do the procedure 2 times per day for a week. She has had no effects of dizziness ever since, that's 2+ months ago. She threw up a lot the first time through, but after the second procedure she was almost back to normal. The second & third day she was find - A OK.

  • Tried it on myself after a week of vertigo and my symptoms are now about half as severe as they were. I remembered a doctor telling me about the Epley a few years ago and thought the upright movement should be faster which is what I did and it seemed to work.

  • I'm 15 and it was like 5:30 and I had just ate wendy's if that has anything to do with it. I got super dizzy like i've never been before. I still am! Is there any ways to prevent it?

  • what kind of dizziness is this? do you experience the whole world spinning around you?

you know the experience you have when you spin yourself for at least a minute and then you suddenly stopped and then you felt the world spinning around you - that's vertigo.

  • I had dizziness for 8 months and tried this last night and IT WORKED! I am hoping it sticks. I felt normal after 15 seconds of doing this and woke up this morning feeling fine.

I moved my head quicker than this video...I read somewhere that you have to move your head quickly when you move it to the sides.

  • nothin works for me tried everythin

  • how do you determine which ear is the "bad" ear?

  • see a doctor and have him/her do a neurogolical exam. I had one done about two days ago and noticed that when she moved my head to the right, I started to get dizzy. That told me that my right ear had the calcium floating about.

  • If this is treatment for the right ear, were is there a video for the left ear?

  • Reverse the procedure.

  • Change your settings and you could reply to questions a lot quicker.

Go to your video. Find "Video Owner Options".

Left click on "Edit Video". Then on the left side, near the bottom,"Comments", click the circle that says "allow all comments with approval only". That way, you will get the response in an email, immediately.

  • I like the fact that the author of this video says that I did not work for a week and the all of a sudden it got better...

If an epley works, it will work as soon as the maneuver has been done. The fact that the dizziness disappeared after a week can be explained by the fact that BPPV usually disappears after 1-2 weeks. Great video though

  • I've had mine over a year. :(

But, yeah, I tried this and it didn't work for me. If anything, it's been worse since then. :(

I just want it sorted before I start college... ever since having it I've been scared to go anywhere in case it happens.

  • This video is treatment for the right side/ear.

  • Thank you to post this video. May I ask is this video for the left ear?

  • Check out the vaporgenie online.

One of the best investments I ever made.

  • I suffer from BPPV for the past couple of years now. Could you please explain the Epley maneuver a little more? Is this something one should do on a daily basis?

All I know is that if I even were to attempt this, my vertigo would immediately kick in.

  • this shouldnt be done on a regular basis. this should be done only once.

do this before sleeping. then after doing this, you have to sleep on an inclined position to keep the gravity down. keep your head vertically positioned for the next 24hours right after you do this Epley maneuver.

  • I suffered BPPV for 4months. been to a lot of quack doctors already. then i found this technique. I followed this and i went back to normal again.

but my only problem is when i drink something caffeineted, or eat salty foods, the vertigo kicks back in again. this one i still dont know how to solve. any advise for this?

  • I gave up coffee (even decaf) and alcohol. Cannabis seems to help alot (vaporize it). You're right, salt is very bad. I don't know why but I almost always get vertigo in my sleep when I fall into a deep REM cycle. Dramamine is helpful but makes you very drowsy. Just curious. How old are you. I'm 52.

  • im 28. too young for BPPV. i had it when i fell down and hitting my head on the ground. thanks for the advise. i will look into Cannabis this weekend.

  • If you are getting vertigo after caffeine and sodium intake, you are most likely suffering from Meniere's disease or some variation of it such as cochlear hydrops. I would not recommend anyone to do the Epley on yourself unless you really know what you are doing. You need the advise of an ear doctor (ENT or otologist and or Audiologist) or anyone else who specializes in the treatment of BPPV.

  • What, are they going to break their neck or something? I did this to myself a year ago and have not had a single reoccurrence of BPPV. I had a VEMP done, I went to the ENT, and I wasted my money on $500 of that kind of testing only to be told "yes you have vertigo." So thanks, but no thanks, audiology. They wanted to send me to a PT. Rather than waste my money further, I googled for PT techniques used to treat vertigo. Almost all PT is completely safe if it doesn't hurt to do it.

  • Petalfin, BPPV strikes younger people after head injuries, and older people spontaneously (due to age-related decay of inner-ear structures). The head injury you describe makes BPPV very likely. If this video is not helping you, an experienced professional will have better chance of getting it to work as well as having other tools available. Best of luck.

  • Viruses can also attack the inner ear. That's how I got my BPPV.

  • @LouisMenchise technically BPPV is from a dislodging of the calcium carbonate otoliths within the sacculus and utricle of the inner ear. These then tumble around the semi-circular canals and cause the paroxysmal vertigo. The Eppley maneuver is used to remove them from the semicircular canals and often can cure the vertigo (but it can come back!). Often BPPV is caused by trauma to the head, but technically while viruses are often the cause of vertigo, BPPV is not the technical diagnosis

  • vaporgenie? vaporize it? what do you mean? smoke something?

  • I'm not a doctor, but if you're getting this response to sodium or caffeine, you're either dehydrated(most likely) or you have Meniere's. Do you have any hearing loss? Ringing in your ears?

  • I drank a can of stimulation caffeine drink last night and had the room spin around me all night and even the next mourning. I also have a riniging in my ear(s).

  • The motion of drinking (head tilt) could also aggravate BPPV. People may just think it is the drink that is causing it. But the onset would be within 1 min if it was the motion itself.

  • Petalfin, You may be suffering from Meniere's Syndrome, a type of Peripheral Vertigo which is said to be cuase by distention of the inner ear. Salt can cause an increase in blood pressure and make your symptoms worse.

  • You can also try DizzyStop for the control of vertigo and dizziness. It's all natural and non-drowsy.
