  • Pretty good

  • I have MORE S.C.U.M SONGS at my channel. So go subscribe and I´ll keep you updated. I have some rare stuff!

  • Can't be bothered to look up lyrics. Can anyone tell me what the song is specifically about, apart from the obvious.

  • @LyricalWax it would have been faster to look them up than to write that comment

  • @TheSilentAnnie Not entirely true. I would have had to identify a section of lyrics, Google it, click on a reliable link, and interpret said lyrics. That would take me longer than just typing the above.

Also I was very, very tired.

Also, they're not a very well-known band and so I assumed that lyrics may not be readily available.

  • @TheSilentAnnie

Also, usually punk/art-rock bands have obscure lyrics which are unrelated to the song title or are very hard to decipher/interpret, or even have no meaning at all. The song title may even have a different story behind it which fans would be more well-placed to inform me upon.

So yeah, taking into account all of the above, I decided to post a 21 word comment instead which took me all of 30 seconds.

  • Finally I can find this video...

  • Peter Murphy???

  • Fantastic song! :)

  • This would be a fuckn great whitechapel song

  • I cant belive how much huw (the bass player) looks like his brothet rhys from the horrors ... they even play the bass the same way xD

  • really like their music bur seriously why would you go on the front cover of OK magazine?

  • @RHSification coz hes dating evil peaches geldoff ... thats the only reason

  • @eveThird how?

  • The melody and chord structure of this song really remind me of a U2 song....I cannot remember the name of the U2 song though!

  • Dislikebutton should only be used for dumbass-videos & weird quality and NOT if you just dont like the music!!

  • @CommandanteMartinez The 'Thumb Up' and 'Thumb Down' buttons are an outlet with which users of YouTube can express how they feel, be it positively or negatively (hence the direction of the thumbs), toward any video they may be watching. This could be swayed by: the video itself; the content of the video; feeling portrayed or attempting to be portrayed by the video eventually resulting in feelings being aroused amongst the audience, determining whether they liked the video or not. Freedom.

  • @VeraSeigal

Chacun à son goût! Thumbs up or thumbs down has something to do with your character. I prefer to click thumbs up or to hear the next track. Peace

  • @CommandanteMartinez I understand your point, but if all were to do that then the 'Thumbs Down' button would be rendered useless. Like a product review, it helps some audience determine whether or not the video is worth their time. It also lets the maker/artist(s) of the video understand what the general public think of their efforts. Happiness.

  • @CommandanteMartinez Yeah, I love the thought of not being able to have my own opinion. You're full good ideas, mate.

  • woah totally blown away, like love ethereal soundscapes like floating in air but actually sat on the toilet taking a fat shit. your on to something here, world domination 2 yrs from now, if your gonna aim big then pick a fight with the sun you dig? ps I'm really jealous x

  • DAMNIT I THOUGHT THIS WAS WHITECHAPEL.

  • I thought this was a new Whitechapel song..I'm such a dumbass.

  • So fucking good.

  • 44 people wanna hear the real white chapel

  • Damn... Ruined my weekend by listening 2 seconds to the wrong whitechapel! My head can't deal with the happiness and gayness!

  • Great melodies, loving the early keyboard, reminds my of the celebration album by simple minds and echo and the bunnymen, great stuff.

  • How old is this band? They are GREAT!

  • @TheNouveauxdecadence what do you mean? do you mean how long have they been a band?

  • @BabyLove578

How long have they been around as I never heard of them. And I am SO impressed they are a modern band!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheNouveauxdecadence they have been a band for five years

  • added lyrics to the video (last uploaded on my channel) since he has a weird pronounciation at some points...

  • 1:52 Ovaries!

  • @dwvob12 ikr

  • Comment removed

  • @tommywiseauwarrior No, you do

  • Possibly track of the year. The album isnt up to this standard throughout but it wouldnt be would it? You cant have 10 tracks this good. Its illegal.

  • @squareass1 that whitechapel kicks ass

  • Can we get rid of that fucking top comment?

  • this is like the soft side of the horrors or they femenine side jeje but I love it!

ahd I love the drumer xD

  • They sound like The Killers' and The Horrors' ugly sister.

  • I like this. sounds a bit rough around the edges and the video is rubbish, but they definitely have something. Singer reminds me a bit of a young Brett Anderson.

  • this song by whitechapel is amazing! XD

  • мне практически всё нравится в этой группе

за иключением того, что девушка не на кухне

  • When I hear this awesome song.... I literally feel a tickle through my body and my soul XD

  • Instruments are so mainstream.

  • can people stop commenting that they're at the wrong video?

  • this is scam!! i wanted to see the real whitechapel!!

  • wrong whitechapel lol

  • thumbs up if you thought this was the band white chapel

  • Hmm... didn't know whitechapel was part homosexual

  • @imPuffinWithBilly LMFAO.

  • @GoronValley is your user name a refrence to zelda?

  • @GoronValley It is indeed.

  • so i type in whitechapel... and this isn't reaaallyyy the right one.

  • Wow, came onto this from a Whitechapel video. This was really not what I was expecting...

  • Not the SCUM i was looking for...

  • The lead singer looks a bit like Nick Cave.

Other than that, pretty goddamn forgettable. They're trying to occupy the same spot, The Horrors already occupy, while having a mainstream sound that brings a reverby, slightly lower fidelity-version of White Lies to mind. They should try doing something "unexpected and dangerous", at least that's my opinion.

  • @Kupjekarlen One of the band members is from The Horrors? This is a silly comment

  • @waggy1989 no he's not, its his brother.

  • yessssssssss

  • @drawmeapromise i know what a fucking dissapointment, i was waiting for them to trash through the shitty band and rock out

  • Am I the only one thinking of Peaches Geldof? Love her.

  • Thumbs up if you thing this melody is fuckin addictable

  • SCUM: THEY'RE ANYTHING BUT.

  • @Ameiric society for cutting up men

  • Ive thought this was Whitechapel -.-

  • This is fantastic, its got everything.

  • Fuck... good idea for a live intro whitechapel

  • hahaha lol to everybody that thought this was a whitechapel's new song u.u!

  • NEW GRAVE ALL THE WAY

  • Great song! Similar to Still Life by The Horrors!

  • that is going to be a hit in a short future. I am saying this because I live in a small town in Mallorca Island and i have heart this fucking awesome song.

  • brill

  • damn i was searching for a deathcoreband :DDD

  • @xHACKZx me to

  • The Velvet Underground but more Marc Bolan/a John Hughes movie/a sinister and somber painting that John Lennon created on a bad drug trip. And, a psychedelic infused Bauhaus. Also, maybe The Smiths.

  • Not what I was looking for but....I liked the song it has cool vibes man

  • this is joy division's new single

  • goth is back in 2011

only this time it's hip as fuck

  • Anyone else hear 'Wisdom' by The Brian Jonestown Massacre in this bassline/progression?

  • THIS SONG IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!

  • ..uhm thats not whitechapel

  • Well.... that wasn't what i was looking for.

  • wtf.... i thought this was whitechapel....

  • this is not whitechapel. this is whitechapel's prey.

  • this is not the whitechapel i was after..

  • @squareass1 i was expecting another 1 too..

  • i cant wait until they come out with more stuff so i can pirate EVERYTHING

  • You guys are the knobends of the world. Who cares if it's mainstream or 'indie'. It's a good song and that's all that matters.

  • hipster to the maxxxxxxx

  • this and the album opener, Faith Unfolds, are brilliant pop songs

  • Oh, how I love S.C.U.M :)

  • mainstream? are you having a laugh? they havent even brought out an album. you arent cool shut up.

  • I dont see any mainstream here, only talent, just listen the whole album.

  • i guess it was a very subtle sarcasm

  • I want to live in this video x

  • Doesn't understand the "too mainstream" comments. Inevitably, bands make music yes for the love of it, but as a way of living, they need money to live and occasionally, the odd song to make a person buy an album may help in the long run. I think it's an awesome song really, I listen to it before a night out and when I'm sitting alone in my room. The debut album is very inspiring, would love to see them live if I didn't work fifty five hours + a week.

  • so 80's yet so new absolutly love it !

  • TOO MAINSTREAM

  • @sect164 if you mean the style - yes, it's been around since the 80s. but this band is not that mainstream. not even 100k plays on last.fm (as of sept. 2011). not mainstream at all. also, this song is very good

  • @Akatosh86 i was kidding

  • @Akatosh86 derp

  • @sect164 That's sarcasm, right?

  • @wilhelmcooning yeah

  • @sect164 your face is too mainstream

  • @iwearlemontee TRUE BUT SO IS YOUR PHOTO

  • ...and a touch of OMD too...

  • love it. it reminds me of James (Getting away with it all) and Gary Numan...

  • his voice is similar to the dude from the london suede

  • i quite like this....loads of 80's influ , echo & the bunnymen etc

    but good

they should try to change chords soùetimes ! ;)

  • super super.... its remember me to a group in the end of the 80´tes. i dont find the name.... but now is a long time ago,,,, its time for a good remake... and that is it.. fine.. very fine....

  • Great Underground Film

    Black Biscuit - Official Trailer

  • Reminds of Soft Cell sort of. Not bad.

  • disapponted... :( i want the old s.c.u.m.... as always every band has to get more "mainstream" -.-

  • oooooooOOOOOOOooooo nice

  • Well I thought this was Gona be the whitechaple band not song
