I personally think it's a big improvement, but why not make the new design consistent throughout Orkut? I want to move to Orktu because Facebook is getting too cluttered an annoying, so if the new design were consistent and you could build in a sync with facebook messages etc then I would never go back to FB. BuddyPress has a FB sync, so why not Orkut?

Well the problem is that unless you are Brasillan or East Indian the chance of finding your friends on Orkut is very close to zero.

Where as if you use Facebook it is very close to 100%

It is also fairly good on Twitter and Myspace and ( if you are old) LinkedIN .
