Yes, they are it was like Romeo and Juliet real time, it was reall heart wrenching to see them separated so as to take their money, I was able to see them together again one more time before the Dr. died, ut it was a real nightmare of never ending court hearings and over $350,000 in attorneys fees, no one should EVER have to go through that! I feel the Elder protective agencies are totally worthless in protecting elders...

what happened is Dr. Fernandez died of a broken heart after being forceful separated for financial reasons (to get at their money) and Clara had to be spirited out of the country to avoid being drugged and kept in a nursing home against her will....She is currently 93 and doing well and happy to be where she is.

Elder abuse is where you are locked up and kept isolated ,drugged and made to sign papers giving away all your money, that my friend is elder abuse and believe me it isn't a very nice thing to have to go through in the twilight of your years..
