True dat. Twatlight wouldn't dare try to make risks. In terms of flavor, Twi-fail is strictly vanilla, in terms of complexity, plot, character development, and the "skin color" of characters. I do not understand why Twilight is so appealing. True Blood all the way for me, it has characters I can relate to, such as Lafayette and Tara. Besides, the writing in Twilight is dismal in comparison to the dialogues of characters in True Blood, i.e. Lafayette.

They were published in 2001 which is a couple of years before the Twilight series was published in 2005. I have read all of the books including the Twilight series and I can honestly say that although there are differences if anyone dared to copy anything it was Stephenie Myer. actually if you have read the books by charlain harris you'll find that there is a LOT of sex in them, just as much, if not more than twilight, and towards the end of true blood season 2 the sex dies down a little bit. a very little bit :P
