Brown refers to the statement Alan Rusbridger, the editor of the Guardian newspaper made, that he warned David Cameron's special advisor of the dangers of employing Andy Coulson. Rusbridger passed on information that due to ongoing court proceedings were not in the public domain, that Coulson had dealings with a private investigator who had served 7 years in prison and was at that time on remand for his role in the axe murder of an other private investigator.
