Canada may not have an official federal "Libertarian" party, but they have the Canadian Action party which is very Libertarian i it's views, especialy on banking reform and open government.

These parties are actually more libertarians and share more of Ron Paul ideas than the Canadian Action Party... CAP is for universal health care, they are against competition and it seems like they are monetarists and not Austrian Economics followers as most libertarians.

I was actually planning on becoming a US citizen back in 2001 after I graduated from a US university, but then Bush signed the Patriot act, and I saw where that was going, so I sold all my possessions and hopped on a plane back to Japan. I haven't stepped foot back in the USA since then, and I would only do so if Ron Paul is elected.
