To keep the guns down you must first play in local and secondly do the following combination.

Hold down on R bumper, L bumper, down on the left directional stick and down on your directional pad. Once you hold onto all of these buttons, press and hold A. When you hit the ground then your player should lower their weapon.

This only works in local. Hope this helps!

first of all, the green spartans were used because they are the default armour perm. second, halo 3 is limited in maps resembling cities so I used what I had. third, it's Salvation City in Deus Ex Machina. fourth there isn't any superheros in this series, isn't that the whole premise of Deus Ex Machina?
