Razer products are cheap as crap. I had the razer barracuda fell apart the brittle plastic broke. Their keyboards are junky pieces of plastic. Go for other brands.

Ive just ordered a steelseries xai. The DA 1800 is the best mouse i have used. The respawn's new 3.5 sensor is terrible. Razer are idiots for moving away from the 3g. The steel series xai is suppose to be as good as the DA 1800 if not better.

Master tnku you are right.. I stick frikkin LED lights on just about everything. my ipod speakers, my razer naga and lycosa have blue led my case has blue led and my computer speakers have a blue led shine below them =P

it can depend on taste (they sound different literally) but yes, zen simply does not screw around. If you get 5xx Zen series - you are good to go until they last, no need to look for anything else. Even with 4xx series you are set, you just need to give them a good 2 weeks to break-in and to stop sound "bassy". All of them sound best if pluged in to your stereo or AVR and less good if they are pluged in your sound card. It's a big difference even with very good sound card.

I like my lit MacBook Pro keyboard! This is a really great feature.

Now comes the weird thing: I prefer hard loud wired robust rock solid tough clunky keyboard on my Linux desktop computer.

I think why I like the "light feature" on the Mac is related to Apple non-ISO standard keyboard layout I have never achieved to learn.

Conclusion: You don't need light if you can type without watching your fingers!

I use Razer because I'm well off, Razer is pretty expensive but generally the best out there. Especcially the Naga mouse.

@Amiskone Something like this can't be true or not, it's a matter of oppinion. I personally think Razer products are good quality, and trustworthy. People say they're products are faulty, but so far after a year of using various different ones, I've had no complaints.

Something that I think is extremely vital in the design is notice how close the F1 toF12 keys are to the 1 to = keys, on a standard keyboard from my own personal preference an from what I've heard from other gamers is that you generally use up to [ 6 ] [ T ] [ G] [ B ] on your keyboard simply because anything farther is unrealistic in time. using with keyboard will not only allow you to reach farther within those keys but it allows you to use F1 to F7 comfortably.

Well not to sound like an ass or anything but here are some clues to see if this keyboard works for computers. 1, it's a keyboard, what do computers use? keyboards right. 2, the connection for the keyboard, if it has usb or a ps/2 connector it will connect to the computer. 3, My reviews are mostly on computer related things. 4, the keyboard has letters, numbers, and punctuations right, what input device do computers use besides the mouse to communicate witht he computer, a keyboard right.

ghosting makes it so you can't press 4 keys at once, only 3

i need to press 4 keys at once from time to time. all i need is a small compact keyboard with anti ghosting.

i need a definitive answer, not just "probably".

it's easy to test, you can find a program designed to test it or you could just open word and press 2 arrow keys and hold a letter key down so it is repeating and press a third arrow and see if it stops

Get your Razer Lycosa,Tarantula and your Fatal1ty keybaord ( or others ) and go CounterStrike : Source and connect 2 a map called Scoutzknivez ( or some map take your scout and knife ) and press qq <-- switch button and see what keyboard gave you the fastest switch with qq. And maybe try scout and deagle or awp and knife / deagle and test those also :) your response will be very helpfull :) thx

I'm liking my tarantula because it feels like a regular keyboard while still having a good amount of resistance. What I notice the difference between gaming and normal keyboards is gaming takes less force. The tarantula achieves this amount of force to type while still not being to flat. It is a very big keyboard though so make sure you have the desk space for it.

PS: The Eclipse 1 has just one backlight colour: blue!
