I bought a Scout 175 Sportfish a couple of years ago, and let me just say I love my boat. It is every bit as good as my brother's Boston Whaler, and a TON less expensive. Scout makes a fabulous boat. It handles well, and can take the waves and beating of the Galveston ship channel, and off-shore, as well as whipping around the lake pulling my daughter on a tube. They are great boats. Well-made, and well-engineered. I'd stack them up to any manufacturer.
