@anass733 well his opener would be slightly faster, but the boost laps can be just as fast, so it wouldnt be by that much. maybe even less than half a second. of course, it's much harder to set those boost laps in GP mode though.

I've been playing this on my hacked psp during lunch at work. Mainly Mute City 1 in which I seen your vid. I struggled with 2:39:...when I was a kid and did it flawlessly but what I'm saying is I appreciate the uploads so now I can go and challenge my personal best. It never crossed my mind to skip the ramps. I did do the boost thing from the opponent though.

I think something is wrong here. As I remember, when you jump the blue trambuline (or what is it call), your speed goes down at the moment you are back on the land.

you have to press down on your controll pad when you land to keep your speed.

@Ckoefer its not the fastest, it has the BEST control and turning on the game with no drifting, hence everyone uses it in the record runs, the fastest I think is falcon, and the yellow was the fastest to accelerate, i think the green one is just terrible!!! LMAO!!!

@nbr1lakerfan Wrong, everyone uses the red one because it IS the fastest, and on top of that it also have the BEST control and turning in the game with no drifting. And falcon is the second slowest one but it's the most balanced car. And the green one is the second fastest car in the game, behind the red one and is not terrible, the yellow one is the one that suck.

@nbr1lakerfan neh I like the green one 2nd, It has high jumps, its almost identical to fire stingray (pink) but it drifts more and takesmore time to refil its health, golden fox (yellow) sucks, short highth in jumps, drifts like crazy, short S jet :) i havnt played this game in ages though so....

Well, there's always one enemy car behind you no matter how fast you go - at least that's what it's like when you go 1vs1 in this game.

But i think you can lap the other two, i am not quite sure ^^ I slightly remember my brother lapped a car when i was young

Im pretty sure you can't lap the other racers, the yellow cars are just generic racers but at least one of the other main racers always stays pretty close behind you no matter how fast you go.

Well you can buy a Wii and use its function "Virtual Console" to download old classics and play on your TV, or you could download an emulator and play the games on your computer.

good going. f-zero is one of the rare racers, which forces you to let of the gas in times. ;)

i hate the fact of f-zero 1, that you can even drive this world record times, but you only need one accident, one mistake to let the cpu come so close again.
