@mutley2209 no they haven't, but there is the new permanent 'Doctor Who Experience' somewhere in/near London, so that is like a new updated version of longleat
Its is so sad that they is no where that children can see the classic doctor who monsters and doctors any more even the Blackpool one has now closed for good.
I remember the shop! First visited it back in 1989 when I was ten- talk about kid in a sweet shop. There was the Celestial Toyroom- you looked through a diamond shaped window and there were loads of masks from various monsters, a cleaning robot and the L1 robot. Nowt wrong with my memory!!
this place was so cool, they replaced with a bunch of bats or something. the tardis entrance is the same, but its painted grey. Many a stoned afternoon was had wandering around that place. There should be a virtual online version or something
What was the reason given for closing the Longleat exhebition, it's really annoying that they closed it for me as it's the asiet one to get to for me a si live in someset. The Cardiff one is alot further away for me and only houses new series stuff, not classic series that Longleat did. It's really strange they closed it as they only revamped the exhebition a few years earlier. Do you know if they still do a Doctor Who weekend still, or is that finished also?
no, i think it burnt down between 1991 and 99 as i went in 99 and it was totally different and it had a section of old burnt stuff on display, for some reason. It closed a few years l8r, but b4 they announced Doctor Who's return :/
they re-opened it at all since the new Doctor Who has been running?

I remember the original Blackpool exhibition, and the disappointment I felt when I found it had closed down.
But on the bright side, it led to the first of many joyful visits to Somerset.
