  • True Gospel. This is no game. There is no "American Dream" for us. Thank you Jesus!

  • good video

  • He had to die for all, even those who dont believe otherwise the judgement of hell would seem unjust. would i give my life, yes, for this world has nothing to offer, to be with our Holy God our creator will be a privledge indeed

  • @woodowl003 AMEN 1 Tim 4:10

  • This question reminds me of the young girl that was killed in the Columbine killings because she refused to deny God. I ask myself this question many times, will I be strong enough to hold onto God when the switch is flipped.

  • To give up this life would be a blessing. I cant see what the attraction is.

  • Jesus will make your burden light, he will write the law on your hands, your heart and your mind

  • For too many years I treated God like he was a "genie in a bottle" for my own beck and call. GOD FORGIVE ME!!!! The Holy Spirit convicted me of who and what I REALLY am and then I TRULY REPENTED. Jesus thank-you for your mercy! I liked this video alot

  • I know htis to be true becasue Ive been through it all. Iv elost friends family and job for Jesus sake. He said go and so I did . Loving not our lives unto death amen!

  • Awesome video!

  • The message here is simple: To be Christ's disciple, you must be willing to give up everything else, even life itself. Adding anything further only obscures the message. Thanks Firecharger, This is dead on.

  • Awesome message! We are dead, but Christ lives through us!

Glory be to His Holy name! Thank You Jesus for Saving me!

  • Wow!

I don't think there's a video that I can make that'll be more effective than this simple interview.

    Thanks for posting, dude!!!

  • GOD BLESS you Dr John MacArthur and Kirk Cameron.

    your brother in JESUS CHRIST,

    Bob

    JOHN 14:6

  • 9:20 to the end of the video really explains it so clearly. Awesome post.

  • GOD BLESS you Dr John MacArthur and Kirk Cameron.

your brother in JESUS CHRIST, Bob

  • Excellent, the longer I Love my Lord the more unworthy I feel yet it humbles me and feels right. Missed you Firecharger, been watching for you thought about you again a while ago and really kinda wondered? Hope your job is good and safe for you and yours, please pray for us and the critters here in the beautiful gulf coast. God Bless you Brother. I had to favoriet this as I gave up my life to serve the Lord and it is an amaziing journey. Love you Brother thanks..more???

  • lol.. he TALKS a good talk. Yet Mr John MacArthur is very very very very well off. Lol for all the people this guy has talk about " Prosperity "... So to say give all your money, lose your family, Jesus didnt promise you a super great life.. yet good ol John is living very very very well off the poor life. Not saying this is wrong. Easy to talk like this when you have everything. Now to give it all up? Ah then watch how you dont have to.. Jesus is coming. be ready.

  • THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS! and PRAISE God Almighty that even though, " among sinners I am foremost." I have been given ears to hear.

  • is that Kirk Cameron?

  • @EastOrthodoxCossack

    From Growing Pains?

  • Some have said John MacArthur is not a Calvinist and rightly so firecharger as me for evidence and I gave it. Here are the two series of videos that show conclusively that he is indeed a Calvinist.

    (1) The Doctrine of Absolute Inability - John MacArthur (1/5)

    (2) John MacArthur (1 of 4) The Atonement Real or potential.

You all watch all of each video series and then ask yourself if this is the same gospel or is it another gospel.

  • I highly respect John MacArthur, good video.

  • I've debated Calvinists in the past, and they do have some very peculiar beliefs in what the Bible teaches, particularly about how Christ didn't die for all of mankind, which is an obvious erroneous doctrine. However, this doesn't particularly mean that we cannot teach them the truth, and this doesn't mean that we must treat them any differently. Some people are raised to believe a particular belief, but this doesn't necessarily mean that they don't believe that Christ died for their sins, etc.

  • @DerrickthePinecone Then let me ask you this? Do you believe you are greater than God? I know I am not.

Did Christ die for the sins of the world thus giving each and every individual the free will, the choice to believe or reject? So I know based on what the bible teaches in John 3:16,,, and, 2 Peter 2:1 teaches He even bought the pharisees with His Blood sacrifice.

Every person here should realize that John MacArthur teaches another gospel Gal 1:6-10 is very clear on this subject, IS IT NOT

  • @Noffy1111 I agree with you wholeheartedly that many teach only half-truths, particularly in this era of the church; if one looks back at the history of the church, there have only been a small number of "true followers" of Christ; God calls us his "little flock." There's no denying that half-truths are taught, but the point is that one that is a true follower of Christ can't deny what MacArthur said here, b/c it follows what the Bible teaches, whether or not his other beliefs are erroneous.

  • @DerrickthePinecone The wolf does not approach the flock of sheep wearing his own skin!!!!!!!!!!! He first puts on the skin of the sheep. If you watched the videos I provided for firecharger as proof of my claims it is clear that John MacArthur has proclaimed of another gospel.

Tell me, if a young person watches this video and likes what he or she hears and starts to follow MacArthur, has that person now accepted another Gospel?

All you need do is ask is this. Does he teach another GOSPEL?

  • @Noffy1111 My friend, I agree with you, completely! If one teaches another gospel, then one is denying the realities of Yeshua, which is therefore like a slap in the face to God, period. But, again, there ARE half-truths! I'm not saying that it's a positive to be teaching half-truths, b/c it's not! but what he said in THIS video I agree with, especially at the end there, which is spot-on. This doesn't mean that I agree with false doctrines. So, what he said in this video, you don't agree with?

  • @Noffy1111 Example: If someone were to tell you that Christ died for everyone's sins, you would obviously agree with this! However, when they walk away from you & begin teaching something other than what the Bible says, then obviously half-truths are in existence, yet does that discount what he/she said about the reality of Christ coming to earth to die for everyone's sins? No. I'm not saying it's right, either way, b/c if something doesn't align with the Bible, then flee from it!

  • Andy, that is a VERY powerful message and you have put it together wonderfully! Thank you for putting this together. I am excited to share this with those I know. *Blessings in Him*

  • John MacArthur is NOT a Calvinist. Obviously some here have NOT followed his ministry.

  • @ixamxmsright

The focus of this video is the gospel. Even if someone believes in calvinism (I'm not saying that John MacArthur does) is it a salvation issue? Are you damned for believing that you were chosen by God instead of having the free will to choose salvation?

I believe all mankind has the opportunity to accept salvation through Jesus.

  • @firecharger Amen!

  • @firecharger The problem with is this, using this video of this man as a source of gospel, denies the gospel itself. The power of the gospel is in the message of the gospel itself. The moment a person hears it the power of that gospel removers the depravity and allows the person to hear the truth. From that point on it is all about choice, all about free will. It may take the Holy Spirit years of watering that seed before it takes hold and sprouts. Or, they will deny it 2 Peter 2:1

  • @Noffy1111

I totally agree with what you've said about the affects of the gospel, but here's my issue. Is there ANYONE that's 100% doctrinally correct? We all see through a glass, darkly (1 Corinthians 13:12) so there isn't a single person that 100% understands all doctrine. Every preacher on earth has some doctrine that some other Christian doesn't believe in.

I don't believe in calvinism, but I don't see it as a damnable belief either. It seem to me like just a misunderstanding...

  • @firecharger

    GALATIANS 1:6-10

Is this gospel, that John MacArthur is preaching the same gospel, or is it another gospel?I am not speaking of minor teachings that are not salvation issues. This is the very heart of the bible. The core doctrine of the the bible is the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and what His blood paid for.

If any one changes that core belief of what Christ did for the sins of the world, it is no different that being a mormon, JW. Calvinism teaches another GOSPEL

  • @Noffy1111

There are MANY other places within scripture that prove predestination to be correct.

Acts 13:48, 2 Timothy 1:9, Romans 8:30, John 15:16, Ephesians 2:8-10..and so on and so forth.

I understand your way of thinking when it comes to predestination. I used to be just the same, until God opened my eyes to the truth.

  • @firecharger Jesus Died for all, why argue over His work right? Praise God even I can get His Love and forgiveness..calvinism or not. I am not getting after you, I agree and get tired of people bickering over moot points at this hour, "Farther along we'll know all about it, father along we'll understand why".

  • @ThePsalm40 Tired of people bickering over moot points? These so called moot points is the apostasy of the church, the teaching of a false gospel. Moot point?

I was asked for evidence and I gave it without opinion or mans views. What was said was straight from the bible and I proved conclusively what I claimed without gossip.

If you want to believe claims that Christ did not die for all as stated by the bible then so be it.

It seems the truth of Gods word escapes many here, I wont be back

  • @Noffy1111 The truth of God's Word doesn't escape me whatsoever, by the way; I am true follower of Yeshua; I believe every word of the Bible and I believe that Yeshua died for EVERYONE's sins, not just an "elect" as many false doctrines teach. It still doesn't take away the fact that MacArthur spoke the truth here--the eloquence of the final words in this video when he refers to the cleansing of our sins and how God sees us as 'like Christ' is the truth.

  • @firecharger WE DONT HAVE FREE WILL. We have will and choice but not free

  • @firecharger I know it's merely a word but we have will and choice but it's not free.

  • @ixamxmsright REALLY? You watch the same videos where he says that Christ died for some but not for others. You watch the same videos where he proclaims total depravity where a person can not express free will and make a choice to believe in Christ.

The focus of this video is of a wolf in sheep's clothing to draw people into heresy.

Both of you watch these videos that I presented and if the Holy Spirit within you does not react to these outright lies then something is very wrong

  • @ixamxmsright

You might want to go to the profile of 'ProclaimHisWord' Whom has gone to John MacArthur's church for over 7 years and says John is a calvinist. The video where i asked and he answered this question is titled

    A response to aProdigalChild's charges

Yes, John MacArthur is a firm CALVINIST

  • @ixamxmsright However he does believe in Election, and yes I follow his ministry he did 2 or 3 sermons on it

  • "Faith is holding a vision of what is really wanted even when the evidence points otherwise."

  • According to John MacArthur it is limited atonement (Christ did not die for all). Firecharger why use Him as an example if he believes Christ did not die for the whole world? His very beliefs are against the teachings (gospel) of Christ and are based on his Calvinistic beliefs?

  • @Noffy1111

I wasn't aware of any calvinistic beliefs. Do you have any evidence of this?

  • @firecharger Ok I will dig them up for you. There is a video on here where he states that God created evil.

Do you have a myspace account.

My myspace is 'The Rapture of The Church'.

Give me a bit and I will get back to you.

  • @Noffy1111

Does a belief in calvinism negate this gospel message? If I believed in post-trib rapture, does that render my presentation of the gospel void? What about "Once saved, always saved?" What about "King James only" or "Preterism"

I believe these doctrines to be false, but if someone from those beliefs presented the gospel the same way Mr. MacArthur presented it here, would it be powerless?

The gospel is greater than doctrines of man. It's the power of God!

  • @firecharger

Firecharger,,,,, Do you believe God made one group to go to hell and one group to go to heaven? Calvinism is heretical just like Catholicism.

If a man can look me in the eye and tell me that Christ did not die for all, I know that I am dealing with a person void of truth.

Limited atonement is straight from the pits of hell.

  • @Noffy1111

No, I do not believe in calvinism as you stated it. Every person alive has the opportunity to accept Jesus as their savior.

I do believe that a person MUST be drawn by God and that God knows who will ultimately choose salvation before they are ever born. This doesn't negate other people's free will to choose salvation. It's just that God knows the outcome of each person's decision.

  • @firecharger Well John MacArthur believes that Christ did not die for all. I sent you the titles of two series of videos showing the utter lies of John MacArthur.

Calvinism is evil and calls into the salvation power of the Gospel.

  • @firecharger

I agree that every person has a chance. but i think a better way to put it is our free will to DENY God. the Bible says no one comes to God except by the Holy Spirit. If you go to hell, it's not because God didn't choose you, it's because you denied him.

  • @firecharger so, if god knows the outcome of each persons decision, then it is a done deal. no point in doing anything. you have come to this comclusion because it "fits" for you,, you cant stand to live with things you dont understand , so to strengthen your own insecurity, you settle into this comfortable explanation of things that, frankly, cannot be explained and is totally unknown to man. after 60 years i am so weary with this kind of thinking. i am sure you will say "holy spirit" told me..

  • @Noffy1111

You are wrong when you say Calvinism is heretical. The bible confirms Calvinism. In fact, even the concept of God is based around Calvinism. There is nothing God is not in control of. Including our salvation.

    Read Romans 9:10-29

  • @Gileve1283 Tell me, did Christ die for the pharisees?

  • @Noffy1111

Yes he did. He died for everyone. Everyone is given opportunity, yet few are chosen. God is fair, God is just.

  • @Gileve1283 Then that is not Calvinism.

  • @Noffy1111

Everyone was given fair opportunity. Christ died for the world, yet he chose some.

That is Calvinism my friend. Predestination, it's in the bible.

The bible tells us both 1. 1 John 2:2

    and 2. Romans 9:22

Soooo putting 2 and 2 together...

Proves that God has died for the world and there are men predestined for destruction.

And you and I both know there is an elect....Thereforeeeee....

Christ died for the world and chose some.

  • @Noffy1111 Christ died for the sins of the world but he did not die for all...scripture says he died for many. If he died for all then why was hell created. If people are not to go to hell then this would make Christ a liar.

  • @harleycraig1 Christ died for all in atonement for sins. The key IS whom or whom not accepts it and believes. 2 Peter 2:1 shows that Christ even paid for the false teachers but they DENIED it and went to their own destruction.

  • @harleycraig1 Hell was created for satan, Lucifer and the 1/3 of the angels that were removed from Heaven for wanting to be GOD also....it was NOT originally created for man...when sin entered the world, man became followers of satan and turning their back of Jesus/God...then same punishment came with the others who followed Satan...and Christ did die for all mankind because we are all born into sin.since the first sin, we do have the choice to follow GODS WORD,REPENT,TURNAWAYfromsin, followJesus

  • @firecharger John MacArthur (1 of 4 ) The Atonement Real or Potential.

  • @firecharger As I look up and bring the proof to you I want to ask you this. You do believe that Total Depravity is wrong? How about Limited Atonement? You do believe these to be wrong?

  • @firecharger Here is the first video of John MacArthur preaching 'Total Depravity'

The Doctrine of Absolute Inability - John MacArthur (1/5)

    Paul Washer is another Calvanist
