I encourage you to make this one of the most perfect covers ever by looking at the ending and in your own way try and match the the spirit of the end of the original song. When Bruce Springsteen sings in falsetto at the end of the song he is showing this girl in the that he has what it takes to take her higher by literally singing higher! That is my take anyways! That is one of the best parts of the song! :) Still though great job man! Your voice seriously is what makes this cover song great!

your singing is great. I'm not sure that this is your best guitar arrangement. Something about it reminds me of Joan Baez more than Bruce. Which isn't to say, I suppose that her style couldn't work with any of his songs, but somehow, I think you need an accompaniment that pauses and starts and stops, like the song or like fire. Just my 2 cents. Not one that patters along and on like rain.

In this song and in a couple of the others, I figure you're "looking around" for your lazy Irish brother to come in with some tasty lead guitar. I think we forget that Joanie did o.k. with just her voice and guitar--her first 4 albums are practically perfect, which is what you're doing here, I guess. But "Donna Donna" isn't "I'm on Fire." Dylan talks about her good guitar work in his recent book. (But it was her sister that was even better).
