I still have the MP3 file of this that I downloaded from the Yamaha website all that time ago. I can assure you this is in fact an inline 4, YZR-M1 being hammered by John Kocinski during testing sometime prior to the 2002 season. The Honda V5s sound drastically different to this.

I know what the Yamaha M1 sounded like and it slightly sounds like the Kawasaki ZXRR but which were both nice to hear but I like the Honda and Ducati roars the best.
