What a beautiful home you have...Thank goodness your dog doesn't destroy things with his anxiety, as some dogs do. My dog just developed a separation anxiety. I wrote to yahoo answers and someone told me about TTouch. I am trying that method to see If I can bring him out of it. It is very interesting some of the videos that I have watched on TTouch here on youtube. I had never even heard of TTouch before. You might want to look into it too. Good Luck!
Shell, this is from 2008. Boom got over the anxiety. He was raised by the same people for 8 years & when they had a baby they gave him up. Why?... He's gentle. He stopped howling after he adjusted to his new home. He improved overnight after he had 4 impacted teeth removed that caused him pain. He was dealing with that pain for a long time, when the separation happened it pushed him too far. After the teeth were out, he was happy. I do like the sound of his howling in this video....now I do
