  • great video helped me figure a few things out

  • If i installed more ram on my windows vista is there something i have to do when i reboot it to make the new ram operate or do it automaticly?

  • I now understand the basic computer parts. I'm glad that I learned this.

  • The more I learn about computer, the more I get attracted by it. Computer parts are very unique and special. They are fun to learn!

  • I really didn't know a lot about the parts of the computer and now that I learned more, it seems like most people take computers for granted and don't think about their unique parts and functions

  • This is so cool! Thanks!!!

  • It was cool how every single parts are linked together to operate. I really liked this video.

  • I think it's cool how everything is somehow related. I also saw my computer and saw three holes on the side, so I guess that's the three fans.

  • All these things are so new to me. I always used the computer without knowing how it works. It feels great to know all the parts and their functions now.

  • I learned so many things in the video. I would've never known all these things. I never knew there was so much to a computer and why it was so expensive.

  • thanks for the videos bud, great job!

  • i want this guy to teach me

  • he has a mental breakdown 4:35

  • @groomofthestool i felt so soorrry for him :(

  • @groomofthestool lol poor dude, idk what happened there.

  • @groomofthestool he was saying a lot of things, i felt bad for him, but he did a great job, thats the best explanation ive got...

  • This further helps by explaining concisely each function of the ports, and data-savers, and etc.. Continuing from the first video, it is really evident that the computer is like a human body, with a brain and heart that sends various signals to the different parts.

  • Similarily to the first video, this is a really simple nad helpful explanation for the computer. This basically goes over everything we need, and thus we don't need any more sources. It is really helpful that you show the actual parts.

  • just like video one.. I learned what are the things that are in the computer.... RAM was really interesting.... It looks really cool.~looking at the video..I am really excited to create one myself~!

  • This video helped me understand more about the ports on the back of the computer. All of the information will help me with the project.

  • This video helped me learn the ports and organize my mind about the inside of a computer. I really like how you review the whole lesson during the last minute!

  • This video really helps me understand what each thing does. Before, i was totally oblivious to what anything was. This will help me on the pc project for sure.

  • Same as part 1 video, this video also helps me to understand better about graphic card that allows us to see images on a monitor and various memory devices, especially RAM. I respect people who make computers that I can use so easily to save my documents and images and to watch any videos. This video will be my guide for my PC project!

  • I now pretty much understand why each minute computer parts are really important. Along with the first video, this video is very much detailed and will help to make the copy of a computer. I realized how important the motherboard is.

  • Now, I know all parts of the computer and I learned the importance of the RAM. I realized that old computers and computers these days haven't changed much. The only thing that changed was bigger bytes and better graphics. The video explains what computer needs and what we can do with the computer!

  • OKay,,,,, i RESPECT people who make computers.

This video helped explain a lot of things and i think it'll help me with my project:)

    Thank you for this explanation

  • Wow. I'm just surprised "humans" made these devices! They must have been another "creatures" from me, haha. Thank you for all the explanations!

  • again this video explained everything. thanks for putting this up...otherwise i wouldve spent hours and hours researching and trying to understand the different parts of the computer

  • great videos Mr Heil. Through these two vids, I learned a lot about computer parts. I learned more than I thought I would. Thanks

  • This video also was detailed and I learned a lot! Explaining each part was very helpful and I will be going back to this video often! Thanks :)

  • This video explains a lot about the different parts and where they go so this will be very helpful for the project.

  • the video is very helpful thank you

  • Great in formation i learned a lots. Just know that graphing is also makes computer expensive.

  • Thanks for summerizing in the end. That made the take much more easier.

  • This video was really well explained and detailed. I especially liked how you explained every necessary part for the PC, because that would definitely help my group to build a PC that follows the instructions. I'm going to be watching this video a lot until the project is done. Thanks!

  • I now get the parts. I thought it would be hard to understand but this video is really helpful. I learned where the appropriate places for the parts of the computer. The graphics card looks so cool and I love how the motherboard is placed in a computer so that the ports stick out.

  • I think now I know how important the motherboard is and how it is going to be one of the most difficult parts of the computer to make. I also learned how the Graphic Card plays a role in the computers. I think these videos were great.

  • It's stunning to see how many parts of a computer have stayed a part for decades. Building a computer doesn't seem to be so tough now, but I'm sure that I need to stay aware for all the parts! This video explains many things and is very useful for sizes and real life examples.

  • I learned that the motherboard is very important and that many things are connected to it. I also learned that some parts are unimportant nowadays, like the purple slot and the big red one for old printers and mouses. It is really going to be helpful to assemble all the parts like the PCI, motherboard, RAM, and others.

  • Motherboard is extremely complicated! It is such an important part in the computer, and seems to do a lot of works compared to its size. Also I used to wonder why there are fans in computers, but now I know the reason! Great things to learn! :)

  • This video introduced many new things about the computer such as the ram, graphics card, and other things. I also learned why the graphics card and ram is important. I also learned how to install things into a computer if I need to improve it.

  • Through this video, I learned that the things like the graphic card, cpu, ports, etc. go on the motherboard which serves as the key component of the computer. Also, the fans play an important role of cooling down the computer. If it was not present, the computer would heat up and eventually not work anymore. All the parts of the computer are needed for the computer to function efficiently.

  • The more I learn about how the computer works, the more there is to learn! I was amazed at how the motherboard had all those important parts of the computer and how everything is connected to it. Thank you for the video! :)

  • When I first heard of the motherboard, I thought it was some simple looking board, but after watching this video, I learned that the motherboard controls the whole computer. It is a very complex part and has several plugs to put in. I think the motherboard will take the most time out of the whole computer. Thank you for the easy explanation!

  • The explanations here are good as well! The computer has so many parts, but if you study them one by one, it seems really easy to understand. Thank you for making this video for us!

  • Through this video, I learned the fundamental parts of the computer. I especially like the motherboard where you can slot in various plates. I think motherboard will be the hardest part to make in this project.

  • I never knew the computer was this complicated and this video really helped me understand the parts of the computer.

  • Before this video, I didn't even know that a computer had a motherboard, let alone know that it is the heart of the computer and how it helps control everything else in the computer. This video helped me to think of what to put into my computer design and what things to buy. Thank you for uploading. :)

  • This video taught me a lot of computer terms that I didn't know before. I didn't know that there were separate PCI and AGP slots for different computer parts. I learned a lot!

  • Once again, the computer is much more complicated than I thought it would be. This video definetly cleared some things up so Thank You! I am looking forward to making my own soon. :)

  • This told me how the ram works and how ther motherboard is the heart

  • This was a great video that taught me a lot about the parts on the motherboard. I never knew all the ports were connected to the motherboard and now I know how that works and have a better understanding of PC parts!

  • ca6jeehyun12

i've never even heard of AGP cards, PCI cards before. I did have some idea of RAM but didn't fully understand what is is. This video really helps a lot in understanding how each parts of the PC work together.

  • It's really interesting how graphics cards are built in the motherboard

which improves graphics in computer. Through this video, i find out how

motherboard's important part of the computer.

  • This video helps me understand the parts of the motherboard so easily. I didn't even know that the motherboard had so many parts. the motherboard is one of the main things in the computer.

  • Wow, there's a lot of parts to the motherboard! Although your previous students made their own parts, i think they did a really nice job making it look real. After watching this explanation, i think i know way more about computers!

  • i didnt know that there was so many parts in a computer. this video helped a lot, and made me feel a bit more smarter after watching it. hahha

  • Well I learned a lot from this video! I knew some of the stuff explained in the tutorial. I might even build my own computer! haha!

    Thanks for this helpful video!

  • Thank you for the video.I've only known about the few parts of the computer due to my interest in self-manufacturing computers, last year. But now, I know more about the components of computer and I wish I can make a better or similar computer to the computer that I have yearned for last year (but, of course, different case design). (:

  • Thanks for the video :) After watching I just realized how unaware I was with my computer haha. Hopefully the computer I get to build in next few weeks will work just like the computers that others made.

  • Very good but i wanna know what happens inside the goddamn chips!!!!

  • This video also helped me understand the parts and the functions of the computer. Such as the PCI card and the AGP card. This video is really helpful for people to understand new and basic facts about the computer. I think this is an excellent video.

  • Among many things, this video helped me realize how the side of the of AGP and PCI cards line up in the back side of the computer, along with the motherboard ports. This video generally helped me gain a much more comprehensive understanding of the motherboard and the many parts it has. Thanks!

  • I'm actually learning a lot from these videos.

I find the RAM very interesting and I think I could apply

those knowledges in the CA class.

  • I like how you bring out the motherboards and actually show how it connects to the other cards.

  • It's really interesting how the standard RAM storage exponentially grew over time. It just goes to show how fast technology advances.

  • Just as good as the first! I noticed that some parts were much more detailed then I thought... Will be very helpful in completing my computer building project.

  • Thanks to this video... I was able to recognize different parts when I actually opened one of my dad's old computers:)

  • thank you! i learned so much from this one tutorial..hopefully my pc video will be informative like yours..

  • the motherboard & chips & cards were hard but i got a lot of help from this video....

i can understand how the PC works much better & how it functions....:S

  • ah...so complicated. All the wires and others. But I'll try to do my best.
